Ah-ha! This looks like a pen, but it’s really a multi-purpose tool hidden inside a pen-like casing. It’s perfect for those of us that like to be prepared for anything, yet can’t really justify wearing a tool belt everywhere we go (sooo cumbersome, right?). The 16 tool bits can be easily switched out- they’re all stored within the pen, so you cycle through to the one you need*. Taiwanese architect Yu–Hung Cheng and his team call it the world’s first “pop–a–point” pen style tool.
Body: 100% solid aluminium shell, bits: 100% nickel alloy steel
Tool bit types: SL3, SL4, SL4.5, PH1, PH2, H2, H2.5, H3, H4, T10, T15, T20, T25, S2, PZ1, PZ2
Pen: Length 15cm diameter 1.75cm
Bit: length 3.6cm diameter 9mm
*This reminds me of the inexpensive mechanical pencils back in the 80s-90s- they had little lead plastic cartridges that you cycled through just like this- do you remember?Available from Wallpaper Store, $69.00.
