Wine or Liquor Accessories

RBT Barware

Hmm, this set of barware from RBT is sure worth a second glance. Take a look at the collection. There’s an aerator with faceted acrylic top, a decanter made of borosilicate glass, a tabletop corkscrew (for the uncoordinated-yet-stylish amongst us?), a metal Wing Corkscrew, and more. All feature the signature black and gold color scheme, which keeps your bar area looking sharp. You’ll look like you know what you’re doing, even when you don’t.

Soft Aerating Pourers

You’re not going to want to carry around a bulky wine aerator on all your future picnics this summer, are you? Nah, all you’ll need to bring is one of these little plastic Pourers. It’ll fit into the neck of any bottle and will aerate your wine while making sure there’s no drips or spills- unless you have too much wine, that is, and then all bets are off.

Skultuna Basso Coaster

No more wine or champagne drips on your precious tabletop, because this Skultuna Basso Coaster will set the bottle dead center each and every time, thanks to its raised center surface. Did you know that indentation at the bottom of bottles is known as a punt or kick-up? Good luck trying to fit that into a conversation without appearing like a complete nerd.

All-In-One Bar Tool

Corkscrew, knife, and bottle opener all in one, it’s hard to argue with such efficiency. However, your traditional waiter’s friend might just need an update, or at least you’ll think so after checking out the elegant cylinder from Stotz-Design. Their updated version makes the tool more ergonomic, as it will rest comfortably in your hand, and much more visually appealing.

Vino Cork Stopper

Why does your wine bottle need a hat? To be clear, it’s a stopper, not a hat, but you can call it what you wish. In the event you are unable to finish a whole bottle of wine in one sitting, this Vino Cork Stopper will save it for later enjoyment. And, it has a trick up its sleeve- turn it over and it may be used as a bottle holder. Two in one!

Cage and Truss Bottle Openers

Why are bottle openers good gifts? Well, everyone runs into a bottle that needs to be opened, especially around the holidays. Plus, these Cage and Truss Bottle Openers are pleasantly hefty and nicely architectural, so they may be left out and admired rather than stuffed away in some drawer.

Normann Copenhagen Basic Bronze Bar Tools

What do you get your favorite wino oenophile? These Bronze Wine Tools from Normann Copenhagen, that’s what. However, if they’re a true oenophile, they probably already have a preferred opener/set, so they’ll most likely say, ‘oh, that’s so nice of you, but I already have a preferred opener, so please, do keep it for your own use…’ and then you’ll have to pretend to be embarrassed instead of particularly pleased to upgrade your own bar tools to something so streamlined and functional. Win/win, right?

Naturally Cooling Ceramic Wine Cooler

When you’re drinking rosé or white wine, do you really want to deal with ice and buckets? Nope. Get yourself this Ceramic Wine Cooler from Magisso and then pat yourself on the back for making chilled drinks that much easier. Soak the cooler in cold water for just a few minutes, then let the natural evaporation process keep your bottle perfectly chilled for 2 to 4 hours, no ice necessary. A glazed base prevents water rings. Smart, right? It does the trick; I own one myself and couldn’t be more pleased (unless it somehow opened the bottle of wine for me, of course).

Drink Rocks by Runa Klock

Drink rocks aren’t the most appealing idea, mostly because the two words don’t sound like the best of friends. Who wants a rock in their drink? Not me…but, maybe we should be a little more open to the idea, especially because Runa Klock has made this set from soapstone and marble, and each rock has a very appealing geometric shape. Come to think of it, they’re the sort of thing I’d like to set on a bookshelf to see, or on a table to pick up and hold, so why not see if they can cool my drink?

Ruban Bottle Opener

This might win the award for most minimal bottle opener, if such a thing existed. The Ruban is made from bended stainless steel, blasted on the lower portion and polished on the upper for a nice contrast. Maybe it’s the most indestructible opener as well…at least when it comes to normal household usage- I’m sure if you wanted to destroy it, you could.

Handy! This bronze bar tool packs four functions in one. Break the ice, use the handle as a jigger, or unsheath the corkscrew that’s hidden within the bottle opener. Based on a vintage item, this updated version is a no-brainer for your bar area or as a gift to a friend that enjoys mixing drinks.

Origami Wine Tote

Oh, how to protect that valuable bottle of wine whilst trekking across town or perhaps even continent, as the case may be? No paper bag will do, that’s for certain. The folds of this Origami Wine Tote insulate and protect a bottle during travel and then compress down for storage.
