Zorro Coffee Table

Pa-dow! If the sight of the Zorro Coffee Table doesn’t stun you with its circular (blue!) glass top, I don’t know what will. A minimalist Z structure supports the two overlapping tops, with reflections adding further depth to its shiny surfaces. Choose between the blue glass (above) or the black marble and smokey glass version (below).

Bartending Glasses

Quick, what’s the recipe for a Mojito? How about a Bloody Mary? These Bartending Glasses by Hannah Rogge will come to your rescue- just add ingredients to match the lines on the side of the glass, and you’ll be set for cocktails. Sold as a set of 4, you’ll have up to 16 recipes (one on each side of each glass) spelled out for you. Easy, huh?

Helmet Bag

Well done, you, for using your bike as transportation. As a sort of present to yourself, you might consider adding this Helmet Bag to your wardrobe, as it can comfortably fit a helmet, or any other round-ish or odd-shaped item, along with your daily work papers and devices.

The front pleats are oh-so-smart as they allow for expansion- a smart detail that’s sure to come in handy. Let’s also mention that those pleats are entirely acceptable style-wise, unlike other pleats on some other garments (specifically, pleated khaki trousers- those are not, I repeat, NOT acceptable). Not a cyclist? Consider how your bento box or lunch pail might fit comfortably within this bag as well.

General Series by Good Thing NY

Don’t assign any piece of the General Series by Good Thing NY to just one function, as they’re meant to fulfill myriad needs around the home or office. A hard timber handle makes it easy to carry each bucket, bowl, or tray from one place to another, and the spun aluminum base/container should withstand a fair amount of wear and tear. Use them in the kitchen for serving food stuffs, in the office for corralling supplies, or in a living area or bedroom to catch various bits and bobs that need a home.

Hex Three Piece Baking Dish Set

Marta Tasting Glasses

While you may not be excited by a simple, short glass, you might like the fact that it’s available in a set of 8 for just under $10. Can you do any better than that, with a similar, fine-looking glass? If so, you need join the team here at BLTD, and I’m not kidding (finding nice stuff for cheap isn’t easy). Dock Tray

The designer of theSwing LED Table Lamp, Objekten, also offers this Dock Tray. Featuring a spot to store your cords and other small items underneath, your iPad can rest comfortably on its back or angled in the outer edge, horizontally or vertically. It’s a pretty perfect catch-all and device stand for a desk/worktop, don’t you think?

Tab Notebooks

Organize your projects, thoughts, recipes, dreams, or whatever else needs sorting with this set of 4 notebooks shaped with tabs. Nothing particularly fancy about tabs per se, yet when in a stack, labels are easily read and individual notebooks are easily found, meaning you’ll be a little more efficient than before. Inner tabs can also label further subcategories if needed.

Ikea’s Sinnerlig Collection

If you haven’t heard of Ilse Crawford’s collaboration with Ikea, you must have been hiding away under a rock. Now that you’ve crawled out to enjoy the sunshine, you’ll be happy to know that the Sinnerlig collection is finally making an appearance at some stores.

You’ll find tables and stools with cork tops on metal legs, woven baskets, bamboo lampshades, frosted table lamps, stoneware pitchers, pots, glass jars and bottles. It’s slightly overwhelming, but you’ll do fine. Just breathe slowly, stay calm, and take your pick. Personally, I couldn’t resist the coffee table in dark brown– $99, can you effing believe it?

Ferm Living Plant Box

Ferm Living’s new Plant Box comes in such a nice array of colors- ochre, gray, black, and blue- that you’ll most likely be tempted to use them more for just plants. Books, perhaps? Some of those toys that your kids won’t put away? Or maybe a catchall in the entryway for bags and mail and such? Now, what color would be best… my pick would be the blue, I think.

Hay & Scholten & Baijings’ Crystal Carafe

Yes, we have featured Scholten & Baijings’ Colour Crystal Stemware before. Well done for paying attention. However, not much fuss was made over the Crystal Carafes, which is understandable as they have a very subtle touch of color.

Choose the carafe with gradient blue or yellow descending from its top edge, or pick the carafe with gold pooling at its base. Pair a couple of Colour Glass Tumblers along with the carafe for an impressive serving set; water (or cocktails) will look oh-so-elegant.

Who doesn’t want a 5-foot strand of ultra-bright, waterproof, and USB-powered LEDs? You could hang one or two strands up in the trees for late night dining, take one with you camping (use the bag as a lantern), or tie or hook one around whatever is handy whenever you need light. Watch the Kickstarter video below for more ideas, and see if you aren’t tempted to get one for your future outside-exploring self.

Building Block Leather Sleeves

I’ve got a nose like a bloodhound when it comes to minimal, expensive things, so it really shouldn’t surprise you that this leather 13″ MacBook sleeve is lodged firmly in the mid-$300 price range*. A smooth black exterior with a nude leather interior hits the right note of functional luxury without any extraneous details to get in the way of your daily work routine (or your excellent appearance). There’s the 11″ size as well as the iPad Mini Sleeve, so there’s something to suit each of your devices.
