Ledr Tool Roll

How to keep your various pens, pencils, and tools organized while you’re on the go? Get a tool roll, of course. This one, available as a Kickstarter project, has spots for 9 items. Two slots are wider to accommodate larger tools, and the overall height of the taller version is 7.5″, so you’ll be able to carry longer things like knitting needles and/or screwdrivers.

The Floyd Platform Bed

Remember this bed? We posted it back in 2015 when it was a Kickstarter project, and now it’s available as a hardware kit as well. That allows you to source your own panels from your local hardware store, or, for the more adventurous, maybe even from a salvage yard. Pretty fun and very affordable, seeing as the hardware kit starts at $265 for a queen bed.

Spike Shelving Clamp

We’ve all seen shelving clamps (the Floyd Shelf comes to mind), but this one has a lot more ‘oomph’ due to its size. And, the designer is Konstantin Grcic, so, yeah, of course it’s awesome.

Lékué Popcorn Maker

Everyone loooves popcorn, but not everyone loves the pre-packaged kind with all the preservatives and other unwanted ingredients. So, make your own using the Lékué Popcorn Maker. Fill popcorn kernels to the line inside, and then pop in the microwave for a minute and a half. The suction lid will keep all your popcorn from overflowing, and simply ‘pop’ it in the dishwasher for cleaning. The silicone bowl collapses down for easy storage.

Snake Blocks

You’ll have fun twisting and turning these colorful Snake Blocks to make all sorts of interesting shapes and patterns. 24 wooden triangles are held together with an elastic band, and you have your pick of a small, medium, or large version, plus plenty of different color combinations. It’ll keep your hands busy when you’re brainstorming (or waiting for an idea to hit, as is often the case). Be sure to check out the video tutorials on how to make the elephant, swan, ball/a>, and cobra.

Cold Picnic Knit Blanket

Who else wants a warm, knit blanket with abstract art patterns? It’ll keep our toes warm and our eyes happy, as the colors and composition agree with our aesthetic sensibilities. And, as you’d expect, it being Cold Picnic, there’s the Tonal Boob Knit Blanket to coordinate with their Boob Bath Mat. Cold Picnic’s quilts are impressive as well, but deserve to be featured separately (perhaps next week).

Who doesn’t like a small treat with their tea or coffee? The MARUHI Cup and Saucer has trick up its sleeve, or, rather, a secret spot underneath. Martone Mia Basket

Many years ago we posted the Evo Handlebar Basket (good for you if you remember it, as it was back in 2011). This Mia Basket follows the same handlebars-incorporated-into-basket-frame idea, making your bicycle errands experience much less rattly, and possibly much more convenient (with little to no bungee straps required).
