Uplift Adjustable Height Desk

Remember the Renew™ Executive Sit-to-Stand Desk featured last week? You might have thought it was a little out of your price range, and, if so, maybe you’ll find this Uplift Desk to be a bit more within reach. Sure, there’s a few differences you’ll notice between the two, but if you want a more affordable sit-stand option, this might be a winner. The steel frame has a motor in each leg to give 26″ of height adjustment- quickly and quietly. There’s also a memory keypad option to save the heights you use the most. Several different tops and a telescoping frame allow you to customize the look and width. Take a look at all the options to craft your ideal workspace.

Renew™ Executive Sit-to-Stand Desk

Hooray! Here’s another sit-to-stand desk, and it has a motorized lift to help make the transition fast and easy. We’ve all heard the news that sitting all day long is bad for us. If you’ve tried standing desks, you also know that it can be uncomfortable to stand for hours on end. So, what’s a person to do? Flexible workspaces are the answer, and will help counteract those negative effects of sitting too long. Switch between standing and sitting periodically for the best results- it’ll add hundreds of years to your life. Okay, you know that last part won’t happen, I threw that in to see if you were paying attention.

Roger Stool by Sika-Design

This handmade stool is made from suar wood, which, if you’re not familiar, is a fast growing (and non-endangered) tropical hardwood. It has an interlocking grain that reduces the likelihood of cracking with temperature changes, and that’s very good news for those of us that hope our furniture lasts longer than our pithy life spans. And did you see the price? Very, very affordable which is oh-so-nice to see. Use it as a low table in the living room or take it outside, as it can go back and forth to suit your place-to-put-my-drink needs.

Imagine a jaunty ‘smart buy!’ sticker affixed to all of the images, and you’ll get an idea of my enthusiasm for these tables.
