Spiral Trivet Set

Look! You get three trivets that easily nest together to form one. Kinda fun, right? The spiral-shaped aluminum trivets protect your tabletop from those hot pans and dishes, and they easily stash away when nested.

San Francisco CorkMap Board

If San Francisco is your favorite city, then snap up this CorkMap. The many streets and neighborhoods within the city limit are laser scored into the cork, all to scale at 2.5″=1 mile. Use it as a message board or as a planning tool for your next visit; either way, you’ll have plenty of room for notes, as the board measures 20″ x 18″.

Analogue Click Clock

Keep the time with a contemporary analogue clock. LEDs are the clock hands, with a dot moving around the circle face every second. The clock’s face automatically switches off when it’s quiet and lights up when you click your fingers or clap your hands. It has an alarm function with snooze, so it could be your new bedside clock (especially if you’re trying the no-phone-in-the-bedroom thing).

Kinto Brewer Stand Set SS

Here’s the brewer stand for you. There’s a stainless steel base, a porcelain brewer, and a heat-resistant glass server. The industrial vibe is anything but fussy, thank goodness. The inner side of the stand’s ring is edged to hold the brewer steady, and the stand’s height is easily adjustable to allow for other vessels from a mug to a bigger server. If you’d like something a little more classy, do be sure to check out the Kinto Brewer Stand in walnut/brass.

Sweep by Gentner Design

Whoa, this is one serious dustpan and brush. Made entirely of brass and horsehair, the set hangs elegantly from a magnetic peg on the wall. It’s possible that it’s the prettiest dustpan and brush we’ve ever seen- so much so that it would be a shame to hide it away in a pantry or storage closet. Also be sure to check out Gentner Design’s brass Bud Vases and miniature Watering Can.

Mood Hook

Turn that frown upside down, unless you want to hang delicate clothes. Huh? The Mood Hook is a curved hook that you can install either way to hang your belongings. The metal shape has a silicon sleeve that’s gentle on clothing and prevents things from falling off. There’s three in each set, so you’ll be able to group them together in whatever sort of ‘mood’ you prefer in your functional wall art.

Soft Edge 70 Stool

Iskos-Berlin’s Soft Edge Stool for HAY may look like a simple seating option, and it is, but you’d do well to notice the ultra-thin, soft-formed seat, and how its edges bend away from the body to optimize comfort. The skinny steel legs are functional, yet they add to the stool’s sense of lightness. Might it be a good place to perch, tucked beneath a small writing desk, or arranged around a meeting table? It’s also stackable, which is a definite plus when floor space is tight.

Dania Letter Tray

Okay, so this letter tray will be the thing that finally makes sense of the paper mess sitting on your desk. With three oak trays, you have plenty of room to sort what’s coming and going, plus an extra level for a ‘what-the-heck-do-I-do-with-this’ pile. Each tray can be pulled out and taken to another workspace when needed.

Ada Sconce

The Ada Sconce is a versatile little light, for its shade is made of two adjustable reflectors on friction hinges. This means you can move the shades around in many different ways to direct the light exactly where you wish. Fans of Charlotte Perriand might recognize a little of her CP-1 Sconce in this design, as this light was inspired by that exact design. And, another nice tidbit: the Ada sconce is named for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which dictates that sconces in hallways must not protrude from the wall more than 4”.

Magic Cube Clock

It’s a digital clock, so, what’s the big deal? It has a little magic up its metaphorical sleeve. When placed together, the two cubes display the time in hour/minute format. However, separate the two cubes and you automatically get the temperature and humidity. Back together, the time returns. There’s also a calendar, alarm, and stop watch function.

International Women’s Day

It’s International Women’s Day today! Will you commemorate it by donating to Planned Parenthood, the #MeToo Movement, EMILY’s List, or Girls Who Code? Those are just a few that I can think of off the top of my head, but there’s plenty more for you to support.
