The Serge Mouille Wall Sconce is well beyond most of our budgets, and that’s why seeing the price tag of the Tournebrille Lamp by Tse & Tse is a nice surprise. This is so ridiculous it’s wonderful. The EYEteleporter is a mask that displaces your eyesight. Put it on and you’ll either see the view point of your belly, above your head, or above your head, backwards, and upside down. Those three modes will hopefully insert a little bit of fun into your day at the office, as long as your coworkers don’t mind you wearing a large, cardboard, telescope-like contraption. Yes, you’ll look weird, but at least you’ll have fun.

There’s not much time left to back this project (eek!), but it’s better to post it now than never. For radio monogamists, The Public Radio by Centerline Engineering is the perfect pairing. It’s a single station FM radio in a Mason jar, pre tuned to your favorite station. There’s only an on/off/volume button, an antenna, and the radio, all housed in/on a Mason jar. As we’re all well aware, there are many excellent cutting boards for us to choose from, and now we can add one more to the ever growing pile. Danish designer Tobias Tøstesen has created the Tilt Cutting Board for Menu, and it has an angled side to let it lean steadily against a wall for storage. Its asymmetry adds further to its aesthetic; rounded and straight lines set it apart from the usual (now boring?) rectangle.

If you owned a brass clipboard, you and your to-do list would feel appropriately important. Plus, when you checked off completed items, you could congratulate yourself while also admiring the slight patina the brass surface acquires over time. What’s this stack of cardboard? It’s a standing desk from Refold, and it’s “flexible, foldable, portable, affordable & 100% recyclable.” Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? If you’d like to try the standing desk option without buying an expensive desk replacement then this would be a good way to try it out.
