Semplice Bed – Queen

The Semplice Bed–now on sale.

“Tino Novati’s Semplice Bed is our newest modern bed that meets the growing desire for utility, comfort and aesthetic refinement. Veneered in either wenge-stained oak or in Ovangkol, a West African hardwood with a moderately course grain, the rich colors of this bed coordinates with a variety of other woods. All sides are finished and the frame stands 12″ off the ground, higher than many platform beds, for a visually bolder profile. The recessed legs each have a metal plate at the bottom to further the floating look that’s become a trademark of Novati’s designs. The deck is constructed of wood slats woven together with nylon strips for a combination of assured suppleness and enduring strength. One-piece platform does not come apart, so some planning for delivery is required. Compatible with our Sonno mattresses.”

Think Tank Limited Edition

The regular Tank U standard vase is pretty cute, and this limited edition (of 100) ups the ante by carrying the image of a world map upon its surface.

“So now we are very happy to present a wonderful limited edition called ‘Think Tank’ that has first been presented last fall in Paris at Maison et Objet. Similar to the ‘standard’ Tank U these are made in Limoges, the birthplace of french porcelain, and are more of a political statement than the other versions.”

This is such an incredibly lovely vase. It’s so subtle, and would make such a good gift- housewarming, wedding, birthday, or anything else. I love it.

“Love letters transcribed into braille relief blanket the surface, creating a delicate texture of light and shadow which visually evoke their intimate meanings. The vase’s narrow oval shape is ideal for floral arrangements, and unfilled it makes a romantically statuesque statement.”

Atlanta Mirror

Recently my entry hall got an update with a new floor mirror, and I can honestly say it makes coming home a nicer experience. It opens up the space, which is really nice in smaller areas.

“Oversized mirrors such as the Atlanta Mirror (2003) by Michael Ogura have become affordable, modern-day solutions to many an interior dilemma. With its full-size reflective surface, the Atlanta effectively makes spaces look larger and brighter. The hand brushed stainless steel frame is corrosion resistant and solidly built to lean safely against the wall.”

So, if you’re happy with the way your home looks, but aren’t happy with magazines and newspapers lying about, you could throw in this rack as a viable option to tidy up your periodicals. It’s a little bit more money out of the wallet than some of the others, but it sure looks good.

Dip Vase by Robert Bronwasser

Not only does this vase look cool empty, but it would look great with flowers too because the different sections allow you to create an interesting arrangement.

“Arrange your flowers into striking displays with the Dip Vase by Robert Bronwasser! What looks like several delicate, porcelain cylinders, arranged into a smooth, organic shape, is actually soft, unbreakable vinyl, formed with a dipmoulding technique. As a cohesive unit, water is held in the vase and distributed throughout the different parts.

Group multiple vases together to create an intricate field of flowers!”

Made from recyclable, flame retardant kraft paper that has been dyed with bamboo charcoal ink to a rich black, this amazing seating can fold flat for easy storage. Photography Floor Lamp

For just under $100, this floor lamp is pretty decent. I like the ’40s feeling to it, as it would add a little bit of antiquity to a room.

“Retake of a 1940s studio source light, scaled anew for residential sets. Adjustable-angle brushed metal head angles light easy on the eyes with a frosted glass diffuser. Metal pole on raised X-base adjusts in height 47″ to 67″. Hardware included.”
