My friends have a eight year old son who by all definitions, is an architectural prodigy. He builds very precise models from the recycling bin and asked for Dwell magazine for his birthday.

This whole “no-liquids-on-the-plane” thing has really put a kink in my packing procedures. I used to be an all carry-on, all the time, type of girl. If I couldn’t carry it with me, I probably didn’t need it…and packing all my toiletries in a ziplock baggie to show everyone in line at security leaves me a little non-plussed.
