I don't know if you guys buy lots of wine (or liqueur) at once or not, but this bottle bag would cut down on the amount of boxes used each time to move it all to and fro the store and then the recycling center.
"From Reisenthel, this sturdy bottle bag will allow you to safely transport up to 9 1.5 litre bottles. No more bulky boxes or worrying about clanging bottles on the way home. Use the bottle bag to transport recycles to the garbage bin too." [posted by katie]

I've always sort of liked the silly, superstitious quality of Rabbit's feet, but as an animal lover I would never own an actual rabbit's foot.

I've been pretty good this year about bringing canvas totes with me to go grocery shopping. It's mostly working out, but I've got to say that this Market tote which has the pockets on the outside for odd shaped bottles would make it almost effortless to carry groceries without feeling like your bag is about to burst at the seams.

The
Phonofone II is now available in black(!).
"Through passive amplification alone, these unique pieces instantly transform any personal music player + earbuds into a sculptural audio console. Without the use of external power or batteries, the Phonofone II inventively exploits the virtues of horn acoustics to boost the audio output of standard earphones to up to 55 decibels." Guess what material this new version of the KangaRoom Charging Station is made from...yep, the ever-so-recently-popular bamboo. Also, if you'd prefer to keep your gadgets close to the computer, there's a monitor and laptop stand as well.

When you're far from your loved ones, it's especially nice to receive something handwritten. It's so old fashioned and lovely. Even more so, imagine getting a postcard which had a hand carved image on the back. Much better than an email any day.

With modern items usually leaning towards the polished and lacquered look, something like these wood rings and hooks would be a natural contrast (either in a room or upon the body).
Rings, $30 ea.:"The finger rings are created from hardwood tree branches and are finished with marine-grade polyurethane to make them water resistant and more durable...Because the rings are handcrafted, the sizes are approximate, but we can come pretty close." Hooks, $30 ea.:"Handcrafted from Maple, Beech or Birch or other hardwoods grown in Jacksonville, Vermont, these Timber products are individually unique. The wood is cut, naturally dried for 24 months and then crafted into its final shape. No two pieces are exactly alike, but the size of most of these Timber items can be customized to fit your particular needs." [via dominomag.com] [posted by katie]

Other than the fact these two items are both from the same retailer, both eco-friendly, and both cost the same, these two products really have nothing whatsoever in common.
Organic Cotton Shoe Bag: "Keep your shoes looking like new with this organic cotton shoe bag. Whether they are traveling with you or sitting in the closet, placing your shoes in a bag will protect them from everyday elements and wear-and-tear that over time can make even the nicest shoes looking a bit worn.
