Riki Stool

Whoa, considering we first posted the Riki Stool over 6 years ago, it’s time for an update. Designed by Riki Watanabe in 1965, this stool is made of cardboard, which allows it to be lightweight and very strong- it can take the weight of over 1,000 pounds. No tools needed for assembly, you just need a few folds to create a comfortable seat.

Designed by Riki Watanabe in 1966.
Made with recycled cardboard.
Can be handbuilt without scissors or glue.
