Under the bed storage is nothing new, nor are drawers built into the bed itself. Hey, West Elm, hive five to you on this Origami coffee table. It’s small enough to masquerade as a side table, which is great for those of us that like switching things up, yet it’s the geometric base that steals the show. And, hey, if some of us decide to switch out the top to marble or, say, black soapstone, we’ll have to high five ourselves (albeit awkwardly) for making such a smart upgrade.

Combining a magazine rack and a side table is nothing new, but add some wheels and us bibliophiles will sit up and take notice. It’s full-on summertime, so don’t forget to put the Röshults collection on your ‘what-to-buy-if-I-win-the-lottery’ list. They definitely have one of the best outdoor collections I’ve ever seen. Ever since this collection was first shown in 2009, I’ve been waiting to see it show up on a US retailer’s website. Well, look what I just came across: The Future Perfect now carries quite a few pieces, and I dare say it’s been worth the wait.

Ilse Crawford’s spare ‘Seating for Eating’ pieces are contemporary interpretations of traditional seating and she describes them as “reassuringly familiar but carefully detailed”. Perhaps my favorite of the collection is the tall Settle Bench with its high back; it gives a space an intimate feel without blocking light or the view.
