Carved from solid wood, this authentic stool will add a well-traveled look to any room.

Solid wood tripod stool, hand carved from a single piece of rosewood, which goes very dark (sometimes black) with age. You can see the wood’s natural lines etched into stool’s surface, which is protected with beeswax polish. Characteristics of each piece may vary as each stool is handmade.

“nar” means “pomegranate” in turkish. Pomegranate is a fruit that holds hundreds of juicy seeds inside. It’s a fruit that symbolizes fertility. Nar coffetable carries books and books carry ideas. Ideas can be distructive as much as they can be constructive. Our aim was to emphasize the danger and the dilemma it holds with utter nakedness.

“petek” means “honeycomb” in turkish. Honeycomb, known with it’s lightness and structural stability also gives it’s form to Petek. “sema” is the name given to the dance of the whirling dervishes. It is a coffeetable with a turning top and rotating bars below it which can be utilized in storing books, magazines and newspapers. Top is in mdf and the leg in steel.

The irregular decorative edge on this shelf is quite interesting and would frame your objects nicely.

A modern shelf with old roots. Nanni Holén was inspired by the decorated shelves you sometimes find in old cupboards. The shelf can be used alone or in a group and gives a wall a strong and contemporary look. Nero received the Swedish design award UNG 06/07.

I’ve been looking for a small breakfast-y sized bistro table for my kitchen, and this one is a pretty good price. I think it’s a winner.

This is slightly reminiscent of something you might find in a doctor’s or dentist’s waiting room, if the doctor or dentist was unbelievably cool. If you buy this, you might have to pretend to be unbelievably cool, otherwise it just won’t work. Trust me.

“Sabrina and Dylan Jones launched Studio North Design (SND) in 2001, bringing attention to an often overlooked material: forest-salvaged, old-growth Douglas fir. A straight-grained, amber-colored wood, it’s acquired through forest salvage logging, where skilled sawyers mine usable wood out of logs that have long since fallen in the forests of the Pacific Coast. Their Modular Shelving (2004) refines the basic concept of dorm-room-style cinderblock and plank shelving. Consisting of simple blocks and shelves in coordinating sizes, the additive system means that shelves can be added and taken away as desired. Compose the pieces horizontally as a credenza or media storage, or build vertically to create a bookshelf. The Joneses’ non-wasteful approach to design includes up-cycling: Remnants from the creation of one product become the basis of another. It’s their belief that wood used in its natural state, that’s consciously sourced, is one of the most eco-friendly materials available.”
