The bo chair by Robert Bronwasser was named (I assume) for the visual appearance of the letters it resembles. The chair (the “b”) has a little storage place (the “o”) which extends out and serves as a tiny side table for your drink.

I love these stackable functional indoor/outdoor injection molded nylon chairs that are appropriate for commercial, institutional, and residential use. I could try to plug in more adjectives/descriptive phrases in that sentence, but then it might get annoying.

Ordinarily, I would recommend putting a flat screen up on the wall without any use of furniture, but if you live in a very large space, such as a loft or warehouse, then something like this would do nicely to delineate between two areas.

West elm has released their new line of furnishings for Fall 2005. The sofa is upholstered with tweed and the frame is kiln-dried. (Means all the moisture is taken out before it’s built for extra stability.)

What you see here is actually three units stacked on top of each other- so if you needed versatility in your modern storage needs this fits the bill just fine. The front panel has the rounded edges, but inside each shelf the compartment is square so you needn’t worry about your books and stuff not staying upright.

An inexpensive simple bench that doesn’t hurt the eyes. You also have the option of getting a Flop cushion (shown above as well) which has the extra nice feature of folding in half and fitting inside one of the legs of the Squat bench. You can also stack the benches to make shelves (see below).

The shape of this sofa is something to sit back and reflect upon. Or, should I say, this sofa’s shape allows one to sit back and reflect while upon it? This is me thinking too much. Anyways, I think this sofa deserves mention in the big bad world of upholstery because it’s different. Nuff said.

If you have a cat, you probably know that it will just about sleep anywhere unless you try to get it to sleep somewhere else. But if for some reason you have a cat that is particularly cooperative with your suggestions, look at this little cat bed. I’ve seen it on a few sites for as much as $150, but if you order directly from London you can get it for drastically less. Via Uncrate.
