This bench takes advantage of five different layers of wood- an engaging design that will no doubt be at home among other classics in years to come.

These look to be a smart choice for your bed, plus they’re available in a few different colors to match your decor: Autumn, Chocolate, Ivory, Sandstone,Thistle, and White.

So, normally we don’t post things from Ikea because it’s just too easy. They’ve got loads of inexpensive suitable/good design, and we figure people don’t need much help there. But, I should probably share that we recently redesigned our office, and the main change was from a simple long desk to an L-shaped one with this added drawer unit underneath. For a little more than $100, it works pretty well and looks pretty decent. Maybe it’s not for everyone, but if you’re on a budget it works just fine.

Obviously this is more suitable for a commercial space versus a small residential one, but it’s a pretty cool sofa if you have the need for a huge lounging piece and happen to have $6000 to spare.

I absolutely love this chair. We ended up getting ours off of ebay, but if you’re not the patient type that will wait forever until one turns up for bidding, there are several stores that offer a brand new one in exchange for a chunk of change.

Patricia Urquiola is one of todays most prolific designers of beautiful, thought-provoking design. The collective body of her work is both cohesive yet disparate enough to not be predictable.

The Antibody is available with flat seats or, in what really makes this line stand out, with raised flaps or “flowers” of material.

This is great because it doesn’t look like a bench, and when people aren’t sitting on it, it will look like more of an art piece.
