Titanium Multi-Tool Collar Stays

These collar stays are the sort of thing a modern day MacGyver would have as it incorporates a half-phillips screwdriver, slotted screwdriver, thread cutter, and a bottle opener (no paperclip, though, sorry). Now, how often you’d need all of those functions, who knows, but some of them are bound to come in handy sooner or later. Like when you discover an errant thread on your way to an important meeting, or when you’re stuck in an elevator… with a few bottles of beer.

Artist Socks by Chatty Feet

Okay, so maybe you’re not a crazy sock person, but, aren’t these fun? Surely they’ll brighten up your day, or someone else’s. My favorites are ‘Andy Sock-Hole’ and ‘Frida Callus’- there’s quite a few more available on Chatty Feet’s site (though the shipping will take longer as it’s a UK based company, fyi).

Pumice Stones

Umm, how odd and sort of wonderful are these Pumice Stones from Fredericks and Mae? Let’s just appreciate how combining two tools in one is clever, and also how this combination makes it more sculptural and special. Use one to help clean, shave, exfoliate, etc., and note how one would look perfectly at home left out on a ledge or countertop (artfully arranged with your other things, of course).

Lapel Pin, Art

Just in case you wish to poke fun at art and artists, this enamel pin is for you. At 1.5″ across, it should fit onto your jacket/bag/shirt just fine, and I’d be surprised if you don’t get a few knowing nods whenever you take it out for a spin. Should you wish to hang the same message on your wall, there’s also a Art Print: Art, signed and embossed. Note: the Art Print is no longer available. Sad face.

Zippelin Travel Bag by FREITAG

What a smart idea; the Zippelin Travel Bag by FREITAG deflates for storage. Huh? Yep, it uses an inner tube of a bicycle for its frame, so you can just deflate it and roll it all up when you’re not traveling. Equally impressive is the material each Zippelan is made from- used truck tarpaulins are washed, cut, and fashioned into each one-of-a-kind, colorful bag, so you’ll know exactly which bag is yours when it rolls out in the baggage claim.
