House Power Station Cable Holder

For a long name, this little block of wood doesn’t do much other than hold your cable in place and look cute. But perhaps that’s plenty enough? A slot alongside the bottom of the house lets your cable pass through, yet keeps it from falling off. Uncomplicated.

Why do you need a walnut, puck-shaped thingamajig? Well, it’ll keep your charging cords and cables it place, so you can avoid crawling around on your hands and knees behind/beside your desk/sofa/bed every time one slips away. Remove the magnetic base, snake cables through the channel, pop the base back on, flip it over, and all your cords are tidy and secure.

Portiko Extension Cord

You know the problem. All those charging cords and not enough outlets. It leads to a genuine mess, if not full-on fighting over who gets to power their device first. That’s where the Portiko comes in, and it’ll at least help a little if it doesn’t solve the whole issue outright. It’s a 6-foot extension cord with two outlets and two USB ports, so you can pretty much think of it as a magic wand (with power). Sit back, browse through your favorite sites, and know you’ll not need to choose between which device gets topped up first.

Soba Cable Director from Bluelounge

Most of us would like to ignore the unfortunate mess of cords lurking underneath and around our desks. It’s understandable, as organizing it all seems like such a pain. However, once you take a look at the Soba from Bluelounge, you might actually look forward to organizing those cords. Skeptical? Don’t be. The flexible tube portion has a ‘Vortex zipper’ that allows you to easily open and route cables through from one end to the other. Bundle up to three cords in the tubing and use the mounting clips to keep it all in place. Easy, right? Take a look at the video below for visuals.

CableBin

Oh, those pesky cords, sometimes you just want to throw them in the garbage bin. Well, now you can, except it’s not garbage bin, but a CableBin. Huh? It’s the CableBin, a cylindrical bin that’s meant to be home to all your cable clutter underneath your desk. Cables and hubs may be attached to the sidewalls via adhesive components, allowing all the blinking mess to be tidied away. The top tray/lid has cable access so you can easily charge your devices. Cordito Cord Wrap

Here’s a very simple solution to keep your cords in order: a leather wrap with slots for your plugs and wrapped cords. I’d be tempted to make my own (I’ve several leather remnants from abandoned zip pouch projects), but if you’re not the crafty I-can-cut-leather sort, you can purchase directly from thisisground’s etsy shop.

Queuger

Queuger, whaa?? Exactly. The Queuger is apparently for any use you can find for it. It’s a flexible elastomer wire with aluminum core, so you can bend it or twist it any which way you want. Maybe you’ll use it to keep wires organized, or to hold cabinet doors closed, or to help ease uncomfortable handles on a heavy bag… those suggestions are based entirely on the ‘ideas’ picture shown below, but you’ll think of many more.

xlSync

No, that cord is not photoshopped in the image above. It’s an xlSync Cable from CableJive. Measuring 6.5 feet (2 meters) long, it’s the (much) longer sibling to the super short iStubz. So, you can charge your iPad while using it on the sofa, talk on your iPhone while it’s plugged into your computer, or maybe just utilize a plug that’s farther away than a normal cable can reach. CableJive actually sent me a sample*, and it’s perfect for reaching a previously-too-far-away plug to charge my phone at night.
