Recycled AND hand-woven. Look at that.
“The RD4 (Roughly Drawn) Chair is an instantly iconic design hand-woven in 100% recycled plastic waste material, with no two chairs being exactly alike. The RD4 Chair is a tour de force piece heralding the future of sustainable design, and makes a striking visual statement uniquely its own.

Sorry for the Muji Overload, but sometimes you just wish you had a Muji store right by your house because each product is just so simple and convenient. In this case, the muji lint brush is tiny and perfect for your purse without adding all the bulk that comes with those “portable” rolling lint brushes. So if you have furry friends, but don’t necessarily want to advertise that to the world, this pocket lint brush might just do the trick.

I’ve often thought about making a blanket out of t-shirts–but I haven’t yet because I didn’t know it could turn out this cool.
“You must be the change you want to see in the world,” and this lovingly handmade throw brings Mahatma Gandhi’s words home in a warm and inspiring way. From the carefully selected materials, to the boldly embroidered lettering, it’s a beautifully personal embodiment of a universally important idea.”

Energy-efficient and affordable, this light is quite the buy if you are limited in funds.
“The forward-thinking team at Knoend marries modernist aesthetics and eco-conscious principles for true 21st-centrury design. Building on the legacy of George Nelson’s ‘bubble lamps’ the Lite2go is a translucent geometric form that provides diffused, energy-efficient lighting from a pendant or tabletop position. The innovative configuration eliminates packaging.”

I hadn’t really thought much of these until I saw them in person- they really do have a ‘particular’ charm that lends some character to the room it’s in. Sure, it’s a bit more of a dent in your wallet than any ol’ ottoman, but it has a bit more personality, so that’s the trade off.
“Bovist is a decorative floor cushion, stool, and ottoman all in one. Its appealing shape and high degree of seating comfort are thanks to the large number of pleats on the side and a filling of small plastic balls. Large sections of embroidery give the cover, which consists of different colored fabrics, a particular charm and there is a knitted thread handle for moving Bovist to different places in the home.”
Designed by Hella Jongerius.
notes: measures 21.25″ diameter x 16″ height

I don’t need to point out the obvious benefits to wall mounting furniture, right? That they reduce visual space, making them perfect for small spaces? Okay, good.

Such a lovely vase…
“A subtle combination of geometry and softness. Starting with a cast mold, the vitreous porcelain is then hand molded for warped effect. Each vase is unique yet similar. Glossy finish throughout.”

I can’t believe this chair is on sale for more than half-off. If you have money, buy it.
“This award-winning design is made using a revolutionary 3-D veneer molding process that produces an exceptionally thin shell and uses a minimum of material. Designed with the edges turned away from the body, the seat forms an organically shaped shell that’s smooth and comfortable. Made of walnut veneer with a leather skin, chrome base.”
