2019 Update As you may have noticed, we haven't had as many product posts in the past few months. Part of the reason is that design blogs aren't as popular nowadays. The other part is that we're busy with other projects and pursuits. We'll keep BLTD up and running as a resource, but we'll not be updating it as often. We'll also be checking email much, much less. Thanks for continuing to use BLTD as a resource. : )

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It's difficult to choose only a few of his words to highlight, as so many of them are applicable to today's social and political times. “We must live together as brothers or perish together as fools.” “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” “Let no man pull you so low as to hate him.” "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.” Strength to Love, 1963 "The time is always right to do what is right."

No matter what you think about the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution, surely there's got to be a way we can stop these horrific events. Think about it, and then do something. Call your representatives, donate to an organization you believe will make a difference, and talk to those around you about how we can stop this from happening again. No posts today, as it seems in bad taste to talk about stuff to admire and/or buy when Houston is flooding. Sorry. If you're in Houston, stay safe.
