So I’m preparing for my whole “flat-pack” adventure, and while this desk is a little blobby for my taste, it certainly fits the bill. This desk has been designed for companies that “need a quick set-up or who move around a lot” and can be assembled and disassembled as frequently as you need. They’re also sturdy–they’ve been tested to withstand 900 pounds of pressure.

When flat all the pieces measure up to under a few inches.

Hmmm. This chair is called the NIKOLAUS chair, and it looks to be inspired by the Rex chair designed in 1952 by award-winning Slovenian designer Niko Kralj. Well, I’m not sure if this is a happy accident but at $29, the price is certainly happy!

This visually engaging storage piece is something to set your sights upon…the design is quite interesting and the materials would add a nice neutral texture to a room. Nice to see a conversation piece that doesn’t overpower…

If you read Wallpaper, I’m sure you’ve seen pieces from this line. This piece is by famed Dutch designer Hella Jongerius. Pricy? Definitely. Impractical? A little. Coming home with me? With out a doubt.

Looking for a new way to save some change? This bank is something different and would be an effective way to save, since it actually requires manpower to retrieve whatever coins or bills you might have deposited. You actually saw through the dotted lines/cut marks in order to reveal a cardboard backing which is then removable and reusable (as the backside)…though I’m guessing that you wouldn’t want to since the dotted cut marks adds that extra little design element that sets this bank apart from the rest. Might make a good gift for someone with a modern eye and a tightened budget.

This chair is not conspicuously modern, but it is simple and lacking in unnecessary ornamentation. I think it’s a perfect little chair. And it’s only $20! You can’t even get a large pizza for less than that in times like these.

Slap a coat of white paint on this thing and you’re done.

First off, I have to warn you that this is unable to ship outside of the UK. So if you live there you are one lucky duck. But, if you don’t then, who knows, maybe you know someone taking a trip over there and they can bring it back for you if you play your cards right.
