We’ve been receiving lots of requests for an inexpensive platform bed and I think this is about as low cost as you can get without making it yourself. It also comes with an optional block headboard.

This is a pretty cool shelving system. Once the back panel has been installed, the shelves essentially “hook” in and can be removed easily for transport. Why would you need to transport, you may ask? I can see this being a pretty great system for an inbox. It’s up and out of the way when you’re not using it, and when it’s time to tackle it (say, once a week) then you just pop it out and start working.

Also, can be used to provide support for electronic devices as cables are concealed inside the back panel.

These handcrafted resin cube lights can be hung on the wall or used on a surface. Since the bulb is a 4 watt night light it doesn’t emit much heat.

I’ve always been slightly intrigued by this piece of technology but I find it a LOT more intriguing now that it’s 25% off (temporarily).

For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, the MultiPot Personal Electric Charger serves as a charger for up to 5 portable devices, as a place to store all your charging cords and as an ambient LED light source. Pardon the pun, but this watch is timeless. Designed by Piero Lissoni for Alessi, I could see this on the wrist of any man for years to come. Clean, simple design, the square face is elegantly rounded, with a full-sweeping second hand.

The good news is if you can’t afford to buy this console, you might be able to make one like it. Concrete certainly adds an industrial feel to a space or room, and provides a nice contrast to other materials.

The way the saucers act as a lid is a definite benefit, and I especially like the spoon/stirrers. I think this would be a nice gift for someone that entertains…
