It’s easy to become desensitized to prices these days- especially since it seems like everything you want is way more than you can spend. So, that’s when you have to grow up and start saving for the things you really want, which means you’ll appreciate them that much more when the item of desire actually arrives, right? All this jabber is just so I can make a point that sometimes it’s worth the big price tag.

Hmm, what’s that? Storage on a shoestring budget? Well, you could go the cement block route, as there’s invariably that time in one’s life, or you could spring for this particular shelving system. It looks pretty nice for the price, and you’d be able to buy a bunch without hurting your wallet (or maybe it would hurt a little, but not a whole lot).

Not sure why we haven’t posted this before (maybe because it has a 2 before the comma in the price tag) but it sure has a pretty enough picture. Platform beds are the thing to have nowadays, so jump on the bandwagon and update your bedroom (if you can afford it).

What a steal- one, two, three or four of these would function quite well as a table/ottoman, and with removable slipcovers, it’d be a cinch to clean up (or change) your living area.

Now THIS is inexpensive. The only thing I really don’t like about it is the microfiber upholstery. But I could probably get past that.

Of the best well constructed platform beds out there, this has got to be the most cost effective.

This is a real risk. It’s a little whacky. And it is made of white vinyl. But there’s something that I really like about it. The head cushion is perfect. For the price, it might be worth reupholstering it in a really nice wool felt.

This quirky little mirror is a silhouette of a dress which can be hung on a nail with its attached hanger.

This is nice and unassuming. I like how the legs flair at the top just slightly.

This is certainly a nice option for seating, though if you live in the U.S., you might have to pay a little bit more for shipping…
