Chairless

You’ve probably seen this around on some of the design sites lately, but now you can buy it at Design Museum Shop. For those of you that are scratching your head, it’s a sturdy strap ‘seating device’ that allows you to sit down and rest without a normal seat or backrest. So, uh, in other words, it’s a strap. Could be handy to have, maybe?

“Chairless relieves the spine and legs, so that hugging your knees or using a support is no longer necessary. Because the pressure is taken off so many areas of the body, you feel relaxed all over. Now your hands are free to operate your laptop or your iPod, for reading, eating etc.”
