LED Smart Jump Rope

Who wants a smart jump rope? I do, I do! And you do too, because it shows your jump count midair with LED lights, which means you’ll be more motivated to hit your goals and therefore healthier. Right? Right. Set training intervals and track progress, all via the included Smart Gym mobile app. What about battery life, you ask? Because you will be jumping ALL THE EFFING time now? A two-hour USB charge will give you 36 hours of active use, which is plenty. You’ll need a break now and then, anyways.

Timeless Travel Planner

Do your travel plans need a little more organization? That’s just what this planner aims to provide, with pages to specifically map out where you’re going, track expenses, and plan your itinerary. The amount of detail is spot on, as it has places to note current exchange rates, as well as entertainment, accommodation and transportation costs. There’s also room to list your very important ‘To Do’s’ before you leave. Does this mean you’ll travel smarter? Probably, as it would be hard not to take advantage of such an easy system. And maybe, just maybe, getting all your info written down in such a manner will free you up to enjoy your journey more.

Impossible I-1 Analog Instant Camera

The Impossible Project now brings us the I-1 Analog Instant Camera, the first camera system that uses the original Polaroid® format from way back when. But wait, it comes with an accompanying I-1 App, which lets you control aperture and shutter speed. Yep, pick your jaw up off the floor and soak it in. Autofocus and ring flash (eight LED’s plus it counts how many photos are left on the film) makes your photo skills shine, and you’ll have an actual instant photo to show off, give away, or frame. Oh, and, of course, you can upload your images to social channels with the app as well. Hip, hip, hooray!

Zip Backpack by Joshu+Vela

Sure, we’ve featured more than a few simple backpacks, but there’s something especially nice about the one from Joshu+Vela. With no external pocket, it refuses to be cluttered, and, with its robust materials, will most likely refuse to break down after years of use. It does have one interior pocket along with an interior iPad Sleeve, so you won’t be entirely bereft of organization. Choose between waxed twill canvas (olive, black, navy, natural, or safari tan) and black leather (super sleek, but more expensive, of course). There’s a small version of the backpack too, which is perfect for daily commutes.

Nello Bike Bell

How about a bike bell that looks like a clown’s nose? It packs 80 decibels of three sound variations, so it will give plenty of oomph when you need to alert someone of your presence. Fasten it magnetically to your handlebar when you’re riding and pop it off and put it in your bag or pocket when you’re on foot.

Open and Closed Helix Keyring

I’ve got a thing for simple keyrings, so of course these two Helix Keyrings by Craighill caught my eye. Choose between the open and the closed; both have one knurled side for adding or removing keys. As they say on their site, the keyrings would be “a daily, tiny joy.”

Secret Decoder Ring

For your secret messages, you’ll need a Secret Decoder Ring. Pass communication on paper, email or text without fear of prying eyes to your spouse/partner/coworker knowing that only they (and other people with the ring) can decode your words. It’s sorta fun, right?

The Lunch Box

Foodies and minimalists will love THE* Lunch Box. It’s made from anodized aluminum- that means it’s sturdy, lightweight, heat-conductive and hygienic. There’s no clips, straps, buttons, or branding (thank goodness), so your food will be the star of the show. Fun fact: the proportions of the box are based on the Japanese flag.

What do you get when you take a small marble slab, a wooden sphere and a little gold bar? An iPad stand from Ladies & Gentlemen Studio, of course. Made exclusively for Poketo (one of my favorite shops), this stand will look like a sculpture with or without your tablet, phone, letters, or books.

When an ordinary box just won’t do, take a look at the Modular Jewelry Container. Made of solid walnut, it has four stackable pieces that may be repositioned to accommodate different shapes and sizes of watches and other jewelry. Take a look at the video to get a better idea of the size and how the trays can be flipped to make more room on a tier.

Slim Insulated Water Bottle

This skinny, baton-like thing is a water bottle. And why is it skinny? To better fit in your bag, of course. It’s a double walled vacuum flask, so it’ll keep your hot drinks hot and your cold drinks cold for up to 12 hours. With such a thin profile, it’ll slide in amongst papers (or clothes) easily without causing your bag to bulge.

Bike Spoke Reflectors + 12

These inexpensive Bike Spoke Reflectors will make sure you’re seen in the dark, which is very important because most drivers are idiots (all cyclists know this). At the price, I’d encourage you to buy several packs and trick out your bike so that all the spokes have reflectors; it’s extra likely you’ll be spotted at night (and it will look fun).
