Lumberlander Camp Blanket

Sleeping under the stars? Make sure you stay warm with a camp blanket like this wool/cotton blend designed by Best Made Co. (of the Axes) and made by Pendleton Woolen Mills. It gets extra points for its included leather blanket sling, and you’ll get extra points for having a warm blanket that’s easy to carry to and fro the campsite (or the linen closet, as the case may be).

Meg Callahan Quilts

Holy. How nice is it to see some super modern graphic patterns applied to quilts? Matter has three of Meg Callahan’s quilts entitled ‘Spine’, ‘Ada’, and ‘Harrah’ on their website, and while the prices aren’t listed, we’ll assume they’ll not be what most of us would call affordable. They are, however, what most of us would call amazing. The Spine and Ada quilts use digital printing and industrial machine quilting while Harrah is an entirely hand stitched patchwork.

A couple of other pillows shown below.

Geo Pillow

Designer Mika Barr has released her first collection in a series named Geo, a pattern derived from the world of Origami paper-folding. Pretty terrific, don’t you think? So terrific it might require begging/purchasing of luggage space from the next European traveler to the states. Or paying extra for international shipping, of course.

Seat Cushions by Grain de couleur

Ooo, more eye trickery, and this time it benefits our derrière. Grain de Couleur specializes in digital printing on fabric, and as you can see here, they’ve created these seat cushions that have the look of other various materials, front and back. They are a bit on the smallish (and poofy) side, so take note of the size before buying a full set for a dining chair makeover.

RELAX Quilted Picnic Blanket

Of course, the weather is not anywhere nice enough to have a picnic outside, but there’s only a few of these ‘RELAX’ blankets around, and you’d be upset if you missed out just because it’s January. Seeing as the blanket is quilted and looks rather robust, it would do well as a sit-and-dine surface*. Plus, we all need reminding to stop and smell the roses, no matter what our surroundings may be.

Scholten & Baijings’ Comforter Cover and Pillow Cases

Hello, hello. Does this mean we don’t have to settle for boring bedding? Yes, if you don’t mind the $228 price tag, which actually isn’t too bad considering what quality bedding cost nowadays. You might recognize Scholten & Baijings’ color and pattern work from their delightful tea towels, blankets and pillows, but now they’ve branched out into the bedding arena, thank goodness, with what I can only call an excellent shot at success.

These two cushions from CUSTHOM have a simple circle design that add just the right amount of interest. And, if you like these pillows, you’ll like the Curve Mugs (£18.50).
