Any discerning coffee aficionado will occasionally turn their attention to a new and clever coffee dripper, especially if it appears simple and elegant. The Gaze is certainly that, as it’s made up of two double walled glass pieces; one houses the coffee and filter while the other catches your brew. The process is entirely visible, which hopefully will add to your enjoyment rather then your impatience.

These small wood vessels are intended for tabletop use, as their lids are carved to allow for a small sampling of spices. Their sides are also cut at an angle so that you may place them either at a vertical or horizontal position. Considering their size and placement option, I bet you could also find a use for them in the office or bathroom, for paperclips or bath salts perhaps?

Summer is right around the corner, which means you’ll need cold drinks in good supply. Sempli’s Incanter looks sort of fun, if you can get past the tipsiness that you might feel watching it spin around. Maybe you’ll put fruits in the borosilicate glass infuser and then pour in a liquor, but I’d opt for water or lemonade because I’m not a boozehound (like you). There is something nice about the vessel doing the mixing for you, and it’ll look oh-so-pretty on your table.

You’re not going to want to carry around a bulky wine aerator on all your future picnics this summer, are you? Nah, all you’ll need to bring is one of these little plastic Pourers. Similar to black + blum’s ‘Eau Good’ Filter Water Bottle, this Eau Carafe is the ideal candidate for storing water in your fridge. A binchotan active charcoal filter purifies the water while the overall shape is pleasing to hold and pour from; it’s even nice enough to keep it out during dinner. You can’t say that for many water purifiers.

Hmm, perhaps we all need to upgrade our honey dippers- if we even have one to begin with, that is. The hexagonal shape of a honeycomb attached to a polished stainless steel handle allows honey to drizzle easily into your tea or toast. Designer Miriam Mirri brought this clever idea into existence, and we might just have to say it’s the coolest honey-drizzling tool to ever cross our computer screens.

Corkscrew, knife, and bottle opener all in one, it’s hard to argue with such efficiency. Mette Duedahl’s Push Coffee Maker is made of a warm grey stoneware in a rounded shape, which seems a little friendlier to touch and hold than the normal glass carafes used in most households. You’ll find the plunger is made of steel, so no worries as to the durability of daily use, and the lid is clear plastic, allowing you to check the progress of the brew. Duedahl’s Coffee Mugs look to be excellent companions to the Push Coffee Maker; I’ll keep my eyes out for a North American retailer.
