Certain vintage patterns are reproduced, thankfully, due to their compatibility with modern aesthetic. This particular set is done in black and white, which usually lends itself to a more modern austere look, yet with a traditional flower design it seems to bridge the gap between past and present quite well.

The way the saucers act as a lid is a definite benefit, and I especially like the spoon/stirrers. I think this would be a nice gift for someone that entertains…
