Yes, you could just staple a piece of fabric on an existing side table and call it portable, but I very much doubt it would look as nice as the Serra. The belt across the Serra’s middle is high resistance, so it’s ideal for carrying the steel table from sofa to chair or from room to room. Use the table’s surface for your laptop or for a cup of tea, either way, it’ll be nice to have a versatile table that’s easy to move around as needed.

This is a different sort of shell chair, made of multiple 4mm wire rods lined up for a symmetrical seat. It reminds one of Bend’s Seating collection, does it not? The ergonomic wire seat connects with a circular rim, giving the chair its lightweight appearance and minimal feel. As it’s made from painted aluminum, you may use the Shelltwo Chair indoors or outside. There’s a Counter Stool as well, fyi.

Add the ‘Originals’ Bar Stool to your list of acceptable seating solutions, for it features a comfortable seat and nicely tapered legs. Fun fact: Ercol founder Lucian Ercolani designed this stool in the 1950s for Ercol’s own designers and draughtsmen, who drew the company’s designs on large drawing boards. Fond of concrete? How about a super minimal option with an iron shelf? Oh, and don’t worry, because it’s not oodles and oodles of dollars like most minimal table options that we all love. It’s not cheap, either, but it won’t give you a heart attack. Who else makes a point to watch Etsy’s stock price (for curiosity’s sake) but forgets that there are several stand-out furniture makers selling their wares? This isn’t your normal bookcase, as it doesn’t have solid shelves. Instead it’s composed of 12 wooden frames, all open in the middle. Books may still be balanced over the frames, of course, but other possibilities arise when considering the use of the middle space; things like planters or containers can hang from the frames, thus enabling you to create a versatile bookcase or room divider.
