Revolver Bound Journal

This journal kind of reminds me of those wonky wallets that you have to fold over a few times to get to your money. Anyways, it’s two journals in one. One side is lined, the other blank. Watching the video might make you a little dizzy, but you’ll get the gist.

The RevolveR revolutionizes the ancient art of bookbinding. This versatile, high-quality journal is built using the innovative, patent pending Revolver Binding Technique which allows the journal to turn inside out and back again around a floating spine, revealing the surprise of a second folio actively demonstrating that there are indeed two sides to every story.

64 lined pages; revolves to 64 blank pages
100% recycled paper

Small (4″ x 5.5″), $16.00
Large (5.5″ x 7.5″), $21.00

Pocket Clip Pencil

Hmm, yes, quite clever, but I think it would be cleverer if it came with some sort of cap so that you won’t get pencil marks everywhere. Although, you could just use a bic pen cap or something similar.

Possibly the worlds cleverest pencil, handmade in east London. Each white pencil has a clip carved into it, so that it can be attached to pockets, satchels and book covers just like a biro. It comes packaged on a coloured card and we think it’s a classic in the making!

Letter openers are one of those things that you think you don’t really need until… a) you get a nasty paper cut. b) accidentally tear up an extremely important document in your haste of opening the mail. c) you spot your arch nemesis sneaking up behind your desk with a steak knife. or d) all of the above.

(Also, UMA is having a 5th Anniversary Sale with 20% off everything through November 1st. That’s right, 20% off every single thing. Can you believe it?)

Keyboard Brush

To add to the collection of slightly odd Housekeeping Brushes, this keyboard brush will certainly prompt you to keep those keys clean.

Contributing to the longevity of your keyboards is this clever brush with bristles of different lengths. The raised black bristles also look and feel like a large Braille message. Made in a former school for the blind, the company now employs blind people to produce these extraordinary and function brush items. Made in Germany.

Rhodia Mouse Pad Paper Pad

This has to have been done before somewhere by someone. A paper pad mousepad doesn’t take a lot to put together, after all. However, to be fair (and slightly contradictory) I am a fan of Rhodia notepads, so it’s awfully tempting to snap one of these up for myself. The lovely grid pad combined with the appropriately sized mousepad makes one less thing on the workspace surface (and that’s never a bad thing).

Use the note pad as a mouse pad, write notes on it while you use it. When you want to have a clean slate, just tear off the top sheet and start fresh.
There are 30 sheets of graph paper, with a grid size of 25 squares per square inch (quadrille 5/5 mm square).

7.5 x 9 inches

The Art of Hand Magnets

At first these looked like Barbie-sized hand magnets, but they’re quite a bit larger than that, thank goodness. Barbie-sized hand magnets probably wouldn’t be very functional (unless they were mighty-magnet strong).
