This isn’t exactly a design classic, but there’s something really endearing about it. Perhaps it’s the reinterpretation of the 60’s view of modern furniture. It’s perfectly scaled and in a nice cotton/nylon blend.

The Carter Sofa is a nice rectilinear shaped sofa with modern textures, colors and materials.

Truth be told, I absolutely love this chair. And now all you Missoni fans can go berserk because this chair now has a limited-edition, reversible cover by none other than Ms. Rosita Missoni herself.

The Plateau coffee table is a multi-functional piece that can serve as a coffee table, a comfortable seat, or an ottoman on which to rest one’s feet. This bench is pretty stunningly simple and beautiful. It can be used as a coffee table, bench, and also at the foot of the bed. The edges are crisp and thin while it gains strength towards the center of the bench with a slight elliptical shape.

I love this chair. It’s two identical pieces of wood which can be assembled to form a chair, and can be disassembled to be put away. The notches can be used to hang the chairs on the wall if you like.

Certified Canadian maple, zero formaldehyde emission glue, water-base clear coat finish.

Despite my tendency to buy black furniture, I’m really liking the different color options of the Prouve Standard Chair…it might take some time to save up for several, but just one in any of the colors would really make a strong statement.

“Tubular steel piping is enough for the front legs that take relatively little strain, whereas the back legs are made of voluminous hollow sections and pass the strain on to the floor.”
