A bluetooth enabled speaker is a dime a dozen (so to speak) these days, so what’s so special about this pair? When I don’t want to carry a wallet or bag, I use a rubber band to hold a couple of credit cards to my phone. And, yes, I often wonder when that method will fail, because, let’s face it, a rubber band isn’t the most reliable in terms of security/longevity.

What’s with the recent resurgence of Mason Jars? Who knows. Those of you who tinker with electronics might scoff at the container, but, for those of us that aren’t quite sure about circuit boards, we can marvel at this completely self-contained little speaker-in-a-jar-we-recognize. There’s something so, well, friendly about it, and though it’s small, it claims to have a pretty big sound.

It might be difficult to discern the tiny Zebrawood speaker amongst the pencils and parquet boxes in the image above, but it’s there, and it’s tiny- three inches by three inches, to be exact. And why do you need a tiny, Zebrawood speaker? Who knows, but my best guess is that you’re looking for bluetooth compatible, wireless speaker that has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and if it happens to blend in well with your oh-so-spectacular décor, then that’s a definite bonus.

Gah! Pinhole cameras handmade from wood! On Kickstarter! Cue the various photography buffs plonking down $50 or more for their very own. I did, and I’m congratulating myself right this very second. Elvis Halilović of ONDU has designed these small, simple to use, and affordable pinhole cameras.
