Peg Lounge Chair, Set of 2

The Peg Lounge Chair, you say, haven’t we featured that before? Nope, we’ve featured the Peg Chair, but not the lounge version. Dixon wanted a mix of of traditional pub furniture with a modern edge, and this durable chair was the end result. And, good news, the price listed is for two chairs, so no googly eyes needed. The dark brown finish is intended to deepen with age and was particularly chosen as an antithesis to the recent Scandinavian blond wood furniture craze (which is still acceptable in many interiors, of course).

Core System Table

Look closely and you’ll see powder coated steel incorporated underneath this tabletop, though it’s the beauty of solid White Oak (locally sourced) that really steals the show. A hand rubbed oil finish gives off a nice gleam and the black oxide fasteners provide a dash of contrast and detail. Each table is made and assembled to order in Strand Design’s workshop.

Cobalt Blue Lacquer Desk

My goodness, take a look at the savings on this cobalt desk by John Reeves. With a regular price of $1895, the sale price of $1099 looks like one steal of a deal, especially considering that the bright blue color is thanks to lacquered panels (lacquer = work). Smooth, self closing runners and well considered proportions give this desk a refined feel, while the drawers and door give you access to appropriate storage space for a home office or dressing area.

No tidying necessary, just close the hinge and you’ll not need to stare at your laptop and other miscellany. Imo Folding Stool

I’ve seen this in person and it truly is a lovely little stool. Perfect for tight spots, it folds down the middle so that it can be stored easily on the wall and free up valuable floor space. It’s not the least expensive stool, of course, but the craftsmanship is entirely apparent.

ErgoErgo

You know how a Yoga/Fitness Ball is supposed to be better for you to sit on because it engages your core muscles? That’s all fine, but they’re a little unsightly for some interiors, not to mention huge when in a small office space. Therein lies the market for the ErgoErgo: it allows for the same sitting experience in a more acceptable stool design. The body can rock gently in any direction, and, as the ErgoErgo is filled with air, the height may be adjusted slightly to accommodate your preference.
