Talk about bare bones, this glass pendant is pure and simple. If you’re the minimal type, something like this is a no-brainer for above a small dining table or work surface.

Oh, look at this lovely faceted pendant light. The surface is sure to catch the light in all sorts of ways, and the black/cream is a no brainer for any color scheme.

The Rock Pendant Light is part of the ‘Successful Living’ collection by Diesel from Foscarini. Made from polycarbonate it has a black exterior and white interior. Evoking the industrial design typical of Diesel Rock has a contemporary, raw appeal which lends itself to any interior. It comes with a maximum drop available of 200cm.

I hoped you saved those plastic wine and champagne glasses from your holiday celebrations…Stuart Haygarth might need them to create his next masterpiece after his limited-edition light fixtures are all sold out.  Katie posted his work a while back, but this particular floor light stood out to me. Standing at approximately 80 inches tall and made of 416 disposable wine glasses, you could say this piece is a tall toast to a properous new year.

Who knew a boring work lamp could look so attractive simply by a few tiny changes and some gold-plating? (I’d wager a guess there are many things that would benefit from the same transformation, though don’t go and be all completely ridiculous about it.)

This baby is crazy big. Standing at about 6-feet tall, this Anglepoise-ish lamp uses a combination of oak and cast iron balancing weights to function. It’s quite a sight to see in person, even if it is a bit beyond most of our budgets.

Oh my, what loveliness is this? Traditional-interiors-plus-modern-furnishings product shots gets me every time… too freaking bad that the price is *way* over any budget for a light fixture that I can ever hope to have.

I love this simple wooden block light with its vintage style bulb. It’s a nice study in contrasts. Keep in mind that it doesn’t come with hanging hardware, but that’s easy to get (a small hook or something from the hardware store would work).
