While these tables do seem quite small (10″Wx14″Dx14″H), they are currently on sale for $39.95 for a set of 2. Put four tables together for a coffee table, or keep them separate for smaller drink tables and such. They’d be pretty versatile for any outdoor space and you could buy several without breaking the bank.
Suitable for indoor/outdoor use.

Oh, beanbags. Just when you think you’re sick of them, this outdoor version makes you think twice. Nylon web strapping on the sides means you can tie chairs together for a loveseat or sofa, or even a chaise if you add the ottoman. Now, the red isn’t for everyone, of course, but it is relatively inexpensive, and for (modern-ish) outdoor seating options that’s few and far between.

We featured Bend Seating’s Farmhouse, Lucy, and Ethel Chairs a while ago, and we certainly can’t pass up featuring the Bunny Lounge as well. The whole collection is indoor/outdoor friendly, so you’ve got versatility that’s most welcome during those fine weather days where you choose to spend some time outside.

Now that nice weather is fast approaching, you might be in the market for some hard-wearing outdoor furniture. This table from CB2 has a convenient handle to make moving a snap plus dual shelves to give more room for drinks and snacks and such. If you don’t mind the bright color, it could be perfect for summer lounging.

Scout Regalia just came out with a new charcoal bracket color for their Garden Kits, which is a nice alternative to the original bright green. Now, to the main purpose of this post: have you seen this DIY Planting Table? You can download the plans (free, of course) and make your own with just a few bits of lumber and screws. Looks super easy.

Made from a completely recyclable thermoplastic polymer, this chair is suitable for both indoors and out. While the silhouette offers a pleasing fluid shape, the apparent comfort and ‘ergonomic versatility’ will make the price tag that much more understandable.

Well, if you need a pop of color indoors or out, this over-the-top throne might suit your fancy. Personally, I tend to lean towards the black or white because color seems a bit superfluous, but maybe I’m boring that way.
Made of recyclable linear polyethylene, UV resistant.
Available in 11 different colors.
Made in Italy.

The quieter sibling of the M’Afrique family, this chaise by Moroso features a rather subtle pattern. (To get a comparison of some of the other pieces, take a look at Shadowy Arm Chair, Shadowy Arm Chaise or Nopolou Rocking Chaise.) You can rest assured that any of the chaises will do fine either indoors or out as they’re all made from handwoven nylon.

Would you believe that 720 feet of rope goes into one VKG Lounge Chair? While that’s an interesting fact, you’ll also be glad to know that this collection was originally seen in Julius Shulman’s iconic photographs of the Case Study 22 and Kaufmann House, so it certainly has staying power.

If the collector side of you would rather sit in a special sort of deck chair, you’ll be happy to know Artware Editions is offering artist-designed deck chairs by Damien Hirst, Gary Hume, Sir Peter Blake, Keith Tyson and others. And yes, they are suitable for the outdoors, so you better actually use them if you buy some, because it would be sort of silly to be precious about a deck chair (for goodness sake).

Just yesterday I updated the post of this chair from last year, as the price had increased from just under $700.00 to $1,459.00. Now, I’ve no idea how MoMA has the price of $825.00, but it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than $1,500.00. Plus, knowing that it can go outdoors as well is all the more reason to snap it up.
Designer: Marco Sousa Santos
Suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
