This is the first time I’ve run across a retailer for this chandelier (I think) and I’m very excited to see it’s available…

“Upside-down wine glasses make up this chandelier. The stemware is meant to be used and then rehung.
By selecting which glasses to hang, you design your own lamp. Different kinds of glasses cause different reflections and light patterns. If you choose all crystal glasses, it will look like a crystal chandelier.

Available in 40 & 16 glass versions. Glasses, electrics, bulb not included.”

You can choose between a chrome or black steel finish.

Modern chandelier with just enough pomp and circumstance to be funny but not so much that it’s annoying to look at.

The kids at Design Public worked with Erich Ginder to make this amazing chandelier. If you happen to live in a modern Elks Lodge (or strive to) this piece is a must.

Produced by Jurgen Bey for Moooi, the Light Shade Shade reveals a surprising chandelier when lit. When off the Light Shade Shade, appears to be a semi-transparent mirror film. However, to your surprise it surrounds an “old chandelier” when lit. Available in two sizes 18.5″ dia. x 32.25″. Please contact us for delivery time.

All of these are really quite something…I would recommend any of them to anybody. And maybe these are more than you’re looking to pay, but if I didn’t tell you about them you wouldn’t get to wish you had more money. Comes complete with ceiling mount, wiring and shade.
