These six white abstract vases are based on house hold items. Alone or grouped together as a set, they look equally impressive.

I really like the unassuming quality of matte white porcelain. These little simple vases would look great in a cluster on a big dining or entry way table.

These are truly lovely, and well worth collecting.
“Eva Zeisel, the Grande Dame of design collaborated with NY based ceramic studio KleinReid to create this sensual series of vases in 1999. The pieces were conceived as a series, but each stands on its own as a functioning vase. From the top: Baby Bud Vase, Medium Pillow Vase, and Large Pillow Vase. The three piece series measures 15″ tall by 9″ diameter. Each piece is slip cast porcelain with KleinReid’s signature satin matte glaze. Color: Ivory.”
Set of 3: 1 Large Pillow Vase, 1 Medium Pillow Vase, 1 Baby Bud Vase, $340.00

These are cute and cheap. Unfortunately, not available for purchase online but if you have an Ikea nearby, just pop on over and pick up a few.

This would make a nice, simple hostess gift (with flowers, ofcourse) for any of the upcoming holiday parties you may have been invited to. It’s a perfect way to show appreciation without breaking the bank.
Pipe dreams. A length of parchment stoneware gives the impression of industrial concrete pipe, honed porcelain smooth and cool to the touch.
• Soft matte grey with subtle specks of dark grey
• High-fired stoneware and porcelain
• Hand wash

The Japanese design firm &Design is known for designing very simple objects based on a theme. This years theme is “borders”, whether missing, blurred, distinctive or adaptive. The Nekko vase draws tribute to the missing roots by creating a stylized reminder of where the flower came from.

This is definitely a different way to show off some flowers. These “Ceremony Sticks” are made of Pyrex tubes and offer a unique way to have an arrangement with or without flowers. One can be placed within the other to have a mulit-layered effect.

These vases are pretty neat- the magnetic plate at the base can be covered up by a tablecloth or runner so that the vases seem to float or balance on their own…

Unique white bud vases with a lil’ bit of texture to set them apart from all the other white bud vases.
“The bubble bud vase is made from porcelain, unglazed on the outside and with a fine pale glaze inside. Each is created by hand, not cast, and the bubble pattern is unique to each vase. They are heavy and feel great in the hand – add a delicate flower stem or display on its own. Choose from short or long necked vase.”

Hurray for recycled vase covers that are particularly pretty- packed flat, they arrive ready for you to unfold and arrange. Do I need to point out that these would also make lovely gifts?
“Designer Tord Boontje has a history of taking recycled industrial materials and turning them into something functional. With his Thinking of You Vase Cover, an ordinary bottle is transformed into a centerpiece. The Vase Cover arrives packed flat, and is easily assembled around your found object. Choose from three designs or group all three for a festive, sparkling display. The Vase Covers feature delicate flowers, butterflies and nature-inspired shapes on arching tendrils that bounce and twist.”

The Teeter Vase has weighted inserts to allow balancing in multiple positions. A few clustered together would look great. And at the price, it’s affordable too.
