I love my wooden utensils. They’re so kind to my cookware and feel great to use (not like those parvenu silicone utensils of late).

This collection is used both for food prep and storage as well as for dinnerware. What’s best is that the prices are entirely affordable.
“morrison has experimented with a combination of glazed and unglazed porcelain. the signature piece is a round cheeseboard with embossed circles that resembles an artist’s pallette. the collection also includes stackable bowls, a porcelain sieve and versatile plates.”

I’m into collapsible things. Collapsible stuff saves storage space which helps makes cabinets and closets tidy, and who do you know that wouldn’t want that? This strainer is large enough to strain the stuff you want like pasta and potatoes, but collapses on down to save that precious space in a drawer or cabinet. Dishwasher safe.

It’s a collapsible funnel. Why all funnels aren’t collapsible is beyond me; it makes total sense and completely eliminates any storage challenges that one would have in the kitchen. You just fold it flat and stick it in a drawer. Boje Estermann, the man behind the magic, got the inspiration from his reflex camera (the accordion-like shape). It’s made of Santoprene, which is a durable/flexible material that can withstand those extreme temperatures that comes with cooking and such. Microwave and dishwasher safe.

Looking for a kettle? This one is really quite nice; it is what it is, nothing crazy or unnecessary about it.
“the mami kettle by stefano giovannoni, for alessi 2003. made of 18/10 stainless steel, this kettle is a beautiful addition to the mami series. designed with a magnetic stainless steel heat diffusing bottom, the handle and whistle are black polymide. use medium heat on this kettle due to the smaller base.”
