NeuYear Calendar

A calendar after my own heart… it shows the entire year with no gaps between months. It reflects how time actually passes, a seamless transition from one month to the next. After considering the efficiency of this format, a regular calendar just seems clunky (flipping pages, why bother?). One side is vertical, the other horizontal, so take your pick.

Nava Today Calendar

If you’ve been a loyal reader you’re no stranger to perpetual calendars; I’ve documented every decent one that I’ve come across. Here’s another one to add to the list, by none other than Enzo Mari for Nava. Change the plastic cards according to the day/date/month, year after year.

Calendreco Wall Calendar

This calendar was first featured on our site back in ’08, and, as is often the case, needs its info updated. The Calendreco by Dessi Ivanova* is a great alternative to the somewhat ubiquitous Stendig Calendar, and as it is perpetual, you’ll be set year after year. Three headers give you options on weekday combinations, so a simple changeout each month is the only lifting-of-finger(s) you’ll need to do. If you should ever need to dispose of it (unlikely), it is 100% recyclable.

365 Calendar

Ah, who doesn’t love perpetual calendars? I’ve long had a habit of posting decent ones, and I’m not about to stop now, especially since this one is super affordable. The only trouble with calendars like this one is you have to remember to update it each day (if you rely on it exclusively, that is).

2012 Stendig Calendar

Seeing as there were Christmas trees at the local plant nursery this weekend (crazy), I suppose it’s not too early to lock in your order of a 2012 Stendig Calendar. Christmas trees aside, these classic calendars are produced in limited numbers, so if you’ve your eye on one for 2012, you’d do well to get it sooner rather than later.

Need some color in your office? This dry erase perpetual calendar would certainly add that (a rainbow=pow!) along with some knowledge: rub each black box and the heat friction reveals an interesting event on that date in history.

2011 Clipboard Calendar

Le Calendrier en Coton (Cotton Calendar)

Okay, so $300 for a cotton calendar is a little frivolous, yes. Not even throwing in the name ‘by Maison Martin Margiela’ helps soften the blow. But, what would you say if perhaps this cotton calendar becomes table napkins after the year is over? That is the intention after all. Does the novelty of that fact make it any better?

Two Thousand Eleven Calendar

Surely you’ve picked up next year’s calendar by now, right? Either way, consider this cotton cloth calendar as a great keepsake to mark a special day (think a small embroidered circle or heart around the day, or a marker if you’re not handy with a needle). It also comes with 4 tacks to hang and 1 to mark the date.

Cats Let Nothing Darken Their Roar 2011

I keep threatening to get one of these for myself, and I figure I best follow through this year. As usual, each month features strange phrases that have the letters of the month highlighted, making for an unusual text-based artwork above your desk or in your office. Oh, also, this year a small black pencil is included for noting events.
