Mark’s Notebook Calendars

Okay, don’t freak out, it’s just a calendar for 2015. You still have three whole months left until the new year rolls around, which is plenty of time to get your ducks in a row, so to speak. This past year I’ve kept my months organized by using one of Mark’s Notebook Calendars, and I’ll probably repeat the habit next year. There’s three different sizes- small, medium, and large– and it’s satisfyingly slim. Front-facing pages display the current month plus there’s just one yearly plan page- nothing else to weigh you down.

Stendig Oversized Calendar

Ugh, really? A 2015 calendar already? I know, it’s a little frightening that we’re nearing the end of 2014, but at least we can get ahead of the game and order a Stendig to prepare ourselves. The oversized Stendig Calendar has been in production for 40+ years- Massimo Vignelli created the design in 1966- and remains a classic option for keeping your dates straight.

And, in true Poketo style, the planner is open dated so you can use it whenever you wish. In busy months, write down important events and stick the page on a mirror or wall so you won’t forget. Calendar Stationery Box

Perhaps this might be a little fussy for some of us, but for others, it’s a nice way to display the date while having a hidden compartment for smaller papers/mementos and such. It definitely has a mid century vibe to it (e.g. the designs of Charles and Ray Eames) which means it would fit in nicely with that sort of interior, or even better, place it in a kids’ room to help teach your little one about the calendar year. Hang it on a wall or place on a surface.
