Katie Hagar, Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief
Katie has been a product and textile designer, an art restoration specialist, and an interior designer/merchandiser. Her interests are focused on finding well designed items that improve daily life as well as reading fiction and making stuff. Katie works full-time for BLTD and lives in a late 18th century flat in London.

Kris Bernard, Co-Founder and Editor-at-Large
Kris has taught architectural drafting, auto-cad for interiors and kitchen and bath design at the college level. Her interests are focused in design resulting in reduction of cost, space and environmental impact. Kris works full time in a technical field and is currently fixing up a 100 year old house in the sleepy Los Angeles neighborhood of Atwater Village.

Simon Yuen, Contributing Writer
Simon has worked in the fields of graphic design, multimedia and production. He has an obsession with objects and their relationships with people. He enjoys making things and sketching in notebooks. Simon is currently studying Industrial Design and rides his bike everywhere in Portland, Oregon.

Mark Robson, Contributing Writer
Mark is a former flight attendant who has worked in web and graphic design. He is devoted to finding the very best places to sleep, eat, shop and relax all over the world. He works in London for a big brand and travels whenever he can.

Troy Witter, Contributing Writer
Troy has worked as a designer, product developer, and fashion merchandiser. He has a knack for finding cool must-haves and has traveled around the world helping companies develop new ideas and products. Troy is a fashion guru in New York City and grew up in a neighborhood designed by Shreve, Lamb and Harmon.
