A friend of mine was telling me that I should get a humidifier because it really improves your skin condition, especially in the winter months. Having never owned one, I can’t testify to this, but I thought I should at least find one that doesn’t look like a server. And here it is!

Danish designer Jacob Jensen’s cordless doorbell features five different polyphonic tunes. It features a LED that indicates both ring and low battery level. Protected from the interference of other cordless products.

A charging station that actually looks good? For real, it’s true. No matter what you’ve thought of air purifiers before, you’re sure to admit this one is relatively nice-looking. It seems to have excellent marks in doing the job, and plus, aren’t you curious to see what’s in the air of your home (causing allergies, health issues, etc.)?

A new clever foam radio from Lexon…

This funky little radio by Elise Berthier is pretty basic – a straightforward AM/FM radio encased in a slab of foam – but produces surprisingly good sound, thanks to its built-in amplifier. Takes 4 AAA batteries (included). Also available in black.

I’ve always been slightly intrigued by this piece of technology but I find it a LOT more intriguing now that it’s 25% off (temporarily).

For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, the MultiPot Personal Electric Charger serves as a charger for up to 5 portable devices, as a place to store all your charging cords and as an ambient LED light source. The Multipot can shine light for 60,000 hours by pushing the button on the lid of the bucket. That’s 7 years.

Also, do not be fooled by the photo. It’s actually a lot smaller in person. It’s only 7.5″ high with a 9.25″ Diameter. It also comes with a 50 inch cord.

This is kind of old school, but I felt like it was worth posting. Don’t buy this if you’re expecting a sturdy, advanced piece of technology. But do get this if you want a really simple, beautiful cd player.

I’m always delighted with small, shiny, lucite-ish things, and the fact that this is a radio AND it gives off a glow, makes me think it’s a winner. Definitely qualifies as a nice safe gift that someone would appreciate…

Is there anything better than not having to pay for long distance? And being able to get rid of your home phone? The Hulger hand set attaches to your cellphone and, with the optional adapter, can be plugged into your computer for hours and hours of free gabbing.

It’s quite hard to find an unobtrusive ceiling fan, so that’s why it’s so nice to see this particular one. Ceiling fans are key in saving money on energy bills, so if you’re not utilizing fans in your main living areas, you might want to look into the idea. Several different finishes are available.
