The Enclave iPad case from Brenthaven won’t turn too many heads on looks alone, (plasticky brown and black shouldn’t be the first thing you want to wrap your sleek iPad in), luckily it makes up for it in function. Besides the basic duties of protecting your iPad, the Enclave functions as a viewing and typing stand, and features a secure grip for to protect against a accidental drop. I had an opportunity to play around with an iPad this weekend (nevermind it was at this place looking at this stuff) and besides being generally taken with how it works and looks, I came away with a vague dissatisfaction with the plastic case that it was protected by. Now, a plastic case may suit your iPad just fine, but if yours starts showing its age with cracks along the spine (as did the one I saw), please consider a wooden case as a longer lasting alternative. This Shellcase has a metal foot that gives you a stand or angled keyboard option, and though the wood seems to add a bit more heft and size, it certainly provides a welcome warmth to balance out the technology.

I’m not usually one for decorating my gadgets, but there’s something appealing about this scrolly script sticker. It certainly would remind you in a pleasant way to unplug your laptop, and if you tire of the message, it’s completely removable.
