Just in case you need reminding, this wallet has the phrase ‘MONEY DOES NOT MAKE ME HAPPY’ screen printed on its various folds. In 2010 Droog started purchasing leftovers from liquidation sales and turning them over to designers for creative re-interpretation. Entitled ’saved by Droog’, the project’s editions are limited by the lot quantity.

I love the simplicity of this leather wallet by Leffot. It’s a single piece of “horse ass leather” folded three times to secure your cash. That’s it, no fancy gimmicks. Some of the colors are back ordered, but expected back in stock mid December. See Leffot Blog for more details.

It’s impossible to ignore these cases and bags, even if the SIWA briefcase is my favorite. With several different sizes to choose from, you can organize your belongings in whatever way you see fit.
All pieces are produced by the Onao paper company in Japan and are highly water-resistant and capable of carrying heavy loads (tested for up to 10 kgs/ 22 lbs).

If you still prefer the pen/pencil writing method rather than the clickity clack of keyboard strokes, take a look at this beauty. The case is crafted from Bavarian cowhide and comes complete with a lovely assortment of writing tools (see below) that will no doubt add ceremony and purpose to your works. Also, if you already have your own tools, the case is available on its own without contents for £51. Could be a great gift for a writer friend or family member maybe. (Also, can I just say how many wonderful things Manufactum carries? I get lost on their site every time, adding loads of things to my shopping basket only to remind myself that I shouldn’t spend £300 on office supplies and miscellaneous brushes.)

Yes, those of you searching for a thinner alternative to the regular bulky wallets can now breathe a sigh of relief, for Kristen Wentrcek (of Wintercheck Factory) has designed a solution to your problem. Two aluminum panels are held together with a Shock Cord, enabling your bills and cards to be protected whilst keeping a very compact profile. A micro fine matte texture makes for a slick yet non-slippery finish and a top corner notch makes for easy loading/opening.

If you’re wondering how this Paperwallet is different from the Mighty Wallet, you’re not alone. It’s made from Tyvek and is recyclable, same as the Mighty, but

2 credit card slots, 2 contact card flaps ,2 easy access pockets & 1 cash compartment. Fits 12+ Credit Cards.
8 x 20 cm (open)

The vivid colors and simple form definitely attracted me to this product initially. I have a feeling that silicone may not be an ideal material for a wallet cause of its inherit “stickyness”, and wouldn’t be suited well to be constantly taken in and out of pockets, but it should be able to handle anything else you can throw at it. I’m thinking iPod or passport case.
The Nooka Asset Organizer (AO) is a system of containers that can be adapted to their needs of the user – whether it is for cards, cash, licenses, or photos. They are made from a soft silicone rubber-like substance that is comfortable to sit on, expandable, and water resistant.

The Mighty Wallet is made from Tyvek, a tear-resistant, water-resistant plastic that feels just like paper. This results in a wallet that will pretty much take as much abuse as you can give it. This is sort of a neat gadget. It’s a card that fits in your purse or wallet (it’s just a bit thicker than a credit card) and when you need light, you just push the bulb out and it lights up, while the base of the card acts as a stand. It might be a nice little gift as a stocking stuffer.
* Small lightbulb folds flat for storing your wallet
* Flip up for light
* Batteries included
