Doormats

I am not a doormat

But you are, Sir, and a very good one at that. Designed and made in England by Rebecca Chitty, this 100% Coir mat has a fitting proclamation with pleasing-to-the-eye big block letters.

Computer Keyboard Doormat

Say ‘welcome!’ to your visitors whilst professing your fondness for computers. And don’t even pretend to not like this doormat, because it’s pretty cute (not in a fuzzy kitten way, mind you, more like just plain awesome). It’s made from coir, a natural and renewable fiber which happens to trap dirt quite well, and you simply shake it clean.

Reindeer Doormat

I’ve caught the holiday bug, obviously, as snowflakes and reindeers seem entirely appropriate purchases. This coir* rug is on sale from $29, and if you’re wanting to spruce up your entryway with a little modern holiday something, this is the way to do it.

Cuboid Doormat

If details matter to you, maybe you’d like a better doormat. This one, made from coir (natural coconut fiber), is pretty cool in a minimal-sleek-undercover way. The 3D illusion makes you look, more so than a regular doormat. It would go well with this door, though it might look tiny in comparison.

Hive Rubber Doormat

If you’ve ever stood in the aisle of your local hardware store and been disappointed with their doormat selection, you’re certainly not alone. While fake stones and scrolly ‘Welcome’ signs work for some, it’s better to find something unassuming and utilitarian (or maybe even opt for something like Come In/Go Away). While this rubber doormat is a little higher in price than your local big box hardware store offerings, it certainly won’t offend anyone’s design sensibilities.

27.6″L X 15.7″W.

Price: $38.00

welcome/goodbye doormat

This doormat reads ‘welcome’ or ‘goodbye’ depending on if your are entering or exiting your dwelling. It reminds me a little of the Come In/ Go Away Doormat except it’s a bit more polite and obviously less frilly in script.

Ridged for scraping shoes and boots
100% recycled rubber tires
28″x17″

Hi. I’m Mat. Mat

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with witty/silly doormats, in fact, we should all encourage the practice.

Even if no one is home to greet you, Mat will always be there with a Hi. It’s not “Hi honey, how was your day?” but it’s something.
