The Reso Armchair is made of powder-coated steel that form a fanned back and straight seat slats. It may not have the same recognition of the previously mentioned chairs, but it is sold in sets of two, so split the $395 or $495 in half when considering the impact on your wallet. Whoa, there’s a big sale on some outdoor items over at CB2. As a point of reference, this Humpback Lounge Chair’s retail price was $258.95 and now it’s marked down to $124.99. For an outdoor chair, that’s a steal, especially considering you’re not buying it from a big box store where you may also buy groceries (in my opinion, there’s something that feels very wrong about that).

Nice! Stylegarage has these stainless steel base sets ($395 CAD) that make the ‘DIY table’ concept super simple. You will need a drill, of course, and a measuring tape, as well as some wood planks or alternative top, but it’s easy from there. Pick whatever length of planks you want to make your ideal table top size- get them from your local hardware store or a lumber or salvage yard. All the steps are listed on the site, but here’s a quick version: lay the planks on the ground, line them up, attach the base with screws, flip the table over, and you’re done!

I do hope you had a nice holiday weekend. Did you make it outside to enjoy the weather in the park or your backyard? If you’re nodding your head to the backyard bit of the last question, here’s another one for you: are you lucky enough to have a little patio area where a hanging swing might fit? I haven’t seen many options for a simple, metal swing until happening upon this IDV Cruiser Swinging Love Seat. And, it appears to be a good option for an outdoor swing as it’s made with a powder-coated aluminum frame, seat, and back. Picnics!
