Tabletop

Twin Carafe

This double-walled carafe is just about as simple as it gets. For coffee, use the center of the lid as a pour over set. Not big on coffee? The lid’s ridged edge filters loose-leaf tea. Pretty smart that the lid works for both, right? Without the lid, the glass carafe works overtime to hold water, juice, or maybe even (if you’re feeling nice) flowers.

Concrete Trivet

Remember the Table Tiles Optic? Now there’s a concrete trivet with the same 3D illusion, which means you’ll be able to join several together for a larger mosaic pattern on your tabletop. Each trivet fits a kettle or saucepan, so double (or triple) them up for larger casserole dishes.

Studio Arhoj Slurp Cup

Just look at the colors on Studio Arhoj’s Slurp Cups. Pretty, right? Each porcelain cup is hand-cast and glazed in various colors for an interesting take on your morning coffee or afternoon tea. You may choose to just get one for the office, or several for a set at home. There’s also the smaller Sip Cup for espressos or perhaps as a pot for smaller plants and succulents.

Hasami Porcelain Teapot

Not only does this Hasami Porcelain Teapot have a classically modern shape, it shares the same diameter as other pieces in the Hasami Porcelain collection, which allows for easy transport and stacking. That’s not only beneficial for your cabinet space, but it also makes for an efficient and aesthetically pleasing tablescape. Crafted from a custom blend of clay and porcelain, the surface is softer to the touch than traditional porcelain.

Table Mortar by Mark Braun

Would you like an extra special table mortar to grind your spices? This one by Mark Braun is
inspired by archetypical millstones. The circular design shows off the marble (five different color options, fyi) while the satisfying heft of the material will crush those herbs and spices to the perfect consistency at the dinner table. No need to hide it away, as it looks perfectly fine sitting out on the table or countertop.

Mazama Wares Glasses

These hand blown soda-lime glasses are worth a second look. Maybe it’s the jade green tint that catches our eye for its hint at the past, or maybe it’s the angled silhouette with a heavier base that suggests a comfortable hold. Maybe it’s all those subtle cues combined that say they’re special. There’s plenty of other colors as well (nightshade, smoke, clear aqua, haze, and honey) and three different sizes to suit your beverage of choice (cocktail, wine, and pint).

Deuce Pitcher/Watering Can

Another weird watering can? Of course! And, even better, this one could also be a carafe, if you should so desire, as one spout is for plants and the other for pouring drinks. Use the long spout as a handle when filling your glass, or, alternatively, grasp the 1 1/4 liter body to water plants. This double function will let you donate any other watering cans and carafes that are cluttering up your cabinets while also delighting in your ability to find such well-designed containers. Go ahead, pat yourself on the back.

Marmoreal White or Black Board

So, maybe you can’t quite afford to have Max Lamb’s Marmoreal Bathroom or even a Marmoreal Side Table. You’re not alone. However, if you’re really, truly in love with the engineered stone, maybe you can afford to serve your cheese on a Marmoreal Board. My favorite is the black (it looks like outer space!) but the white is equally appealing as it showcases the colors just as well.

Piippu Pot

The Piippu Pot by Kaksikko looks a like a distant relative of the Svante Watering Can, no? Its shape and side handle reference traditional tea service, yet the addition of the filter holder makes it suitable for coffee as well. Each pot is crafted by hand by designer Salla Luhtasela and is available in a black engobe finish or white gas-fired porcelain.

Ripple Glasses and Carafe

If you’re drinking your favorite cold beverage out of a chipped mug, snap up this set of Ripple Glasses pronto. Mouth blown into the mold, each glass features a lovely rippled surface. Look closer and you’ll see that each glass has a varied height to its collar; that adds interest, of course, but it also means you’ll be able to tell which glass is yours when your friends and family are around. Go ahead and get the matching carafe too- you might as well, as the whole grouping is quite affordable.

Chamfer Serving Boards

When you need to dress up your dinner spread, you can’t go wrong with one of these Chamfer Serving Boards. The ebony marble or clear crystal glass are heavy and luxe, which means you could put cheap crackers and cheese on them and they’d still look nice (though you would never do that, would you?). The sloped edges look sharp, and have the added benefit of easy lifting from the table.
