The Mathmos LED lights are so cool and would be perfect for washing a room in color. This one is 8″ across and can be used on a table top or wall mounted. It cycles through the color spectrum and if you find one you like, you can press the light to make it stay there. It would also be great for a kids room.

This certainly looks great when it’s white on white, but I suppose it would look equally as nice when it’s contrasted with a wall color since it has such a nice spherical edge.
