I went to the new CB2 opening in Manhattan the other day and was pleased to get to see this close up. It’s well constructed and generously proportioned.

This new bedding from Dwell is a modern interpretation of the 17th century artistic style which is the European interpretation of Chinese decortive styles.

I like how this is simple, no-nonsense and looks a little like packing crates. It’s got a sturdy price tag because it’s made with all the traditional joinery techniques that make it last forever: tongue and groove, mortise and tenon, and dovetailing.
