Both rack and shelf claim to puzzle friends and colleagues, but I’m sure after they figure out how the books or magazines are floating, they’ll simply think of you as clever for finding such a smart way to display your collection.

So, if you’re happy with the way your home looks, but aren’t happy with magazines and newspapers lying about, you could throw in this rack as a viable option to tidy up your periodicals. It’s a little bit more money out of the wallet than some of the others, but it sure looks good.

It’s so nice to see the urn/vase shape and a matte black surface instead of minor variations on stainless steel boxes. Also worth mentioning: the footprint of this magazine rack is sized small for tight spaces.

For those of you with extensive magazine collections that you care to archive. I’m talking to you, Mr. “Hot Rod”. You know who you are.

I’m someone who prefers to do bill paying and other household paper management in front of the HBO device instead of at a desk, so something like this would be great for tethering all my bills and such without worry about losing any important paperwork.
