Timber Stools are produced using a Gelcoat finish. Gelcoat is a material used to provide a high quality finish on the visible surface of a fiber-reinforced composite material. The fiberglass understructure, provides the structural integrity, is also colored, incase severe scratching should reveal the understructure. Surface scratches can easily be buffed out with polishing compound. Many boats are produced with Gelcoat over fiberglass, and the Corvette sports-car exterior body has been produced with this type of material since its inception.<\/p>\n

All metallic finishes are actual metal powders suspended in the Gelcoat top layer. Metallic finishes will further oxidize overtime adding to their beauty.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
