I forget how I found this thing, but the reviews, even the critical ones, say it makes a better-than-average cup of coffee with less acidity and no bitterness. And you don’t even need electricity to use it so take it camping if you like…Brokeback Mountain style, but with Juan Valdez and a happier ending.
Includes: Aeropress plunger, funnel, scoop, stirrer, and a year’s supply of micro-filters.

Good ol’ honest Abe. I’m a believer in silly mugs, as they make early mornings a little more bearable.

As a self-proclaimed tea junkie, it’s difficult to describe just how important certain tools in the tea making process can be. If you’re dealing in loose tea, some infusers can be irritating in that they’re hard to clean, and if they’re hard to clean, you’ll probably get fed up and not use them anymore (which is the case with several infusers in my top kitchen drawer at the moment). Now, this Teaball Teapot not only looks easy to clean, but it looks extremely nice to hold and use, and I’d say that’s almost as (if not more) important.

Through a partnership with illy coffee experts, artist William Kentridge brings us this limited-edition set of six espresso cups and six illustrated saucers, but it’s not until saucer meets mirror-finish cup that the images become clear and right side up.

I like the idea of grouping a few of these cups together as a birthday or anniversary present, or, as the retailer also recommends, as a house warming gift with numbers of the new address.

Say goodbye to instant coffee. You can have one cup of freshly ground coffee whenever you want thanks to this Minibrewer.
You CAN get along with making just one cup instead of a pot. Using the Minibrewer, you make your freshly ground coffee directly in the cup. An economic and easy solution for modern daily life, where we rarely enjoy our coffee in the company of others. The Minibrewer is made of steel, rubber, and black mat plastic, and perfectly complements Stelton’s new designer mugs, inspired by Arne Jakobsen’s classic Cylinda-Line design.
Designer: Frederik Gundelach
dimensions : 2.4″w x 4.5″h
Also available: € 29.00

Given the recent popularity of moustaches/mustaches, in particular, moustache mugs, I’m sure you’ll find one of these sets to be just what you and maybe your co-workers need for a pick-me-up.
Enjoy effortlessly masquerading behind a character moustache while drinking your favourite tea or coffee. Every mug has a different design on each side to explore your favourite masculine expression! Choose between feisty Fu-Magnum, ambigues Mustafa-Chaplin and cheeky Maurice-Poirot!
Looks like the price is for a set of 2 mugs.

Keep that tea bag in place with this set of two Zipper cups. Might be a good gift (see below) for someone this holiday season too.
A zipper is a unique device used around the world to typically join two sides of fabric, such as in clothing, bags and now…cups…well, not exactly. While the zipper cup does not function like an actual zipper, the zipper design is incorporated into another commonly used household product such as a cup. The intricate design mechanism of a zipper reflects the bonding and friendship of two people, which is why they are sold in pairs. Great for gifts to newly weds, friends, parents, anniversary etc.
Cup: H3.9″ x D2.6″ (opening)
Coaster: 4.3″ x 4.3″
2 cups and 2 coasters included as a set inside original gift box.

This set of three mugs link together to ensure safe transport; no tray needed. Could be a handy thing to have around, either at the office or at home (or ski chalet perhaps?).
Link Mugs are one of those simple but inspired product designs that solves the problem of how to carry several mugs at once without the need for a tray… designer Jonathan Aspinall has developed an inspired solution to this problem – mugs that can link together. Each cup has a plus shaped plug on one side and a corresponding receptacle on the other. Thereby allowing the mugs to be linked together for you to carry in a line to friends, family and work colleagues.

I can think of one word for this: creepy. Since it’s October, creepy is kind of okay, and despite my initial reservations on the inconvenience of your tea/coffee seeping between the teeth and onto your hand or desk, not to mention how strange it would be to have your own teeth bump against the cup’s teeth (uck)… yeah, so despite all that, maybe you’ll get a kick out of it, or know someone who will.
Each one is individually hand carved by skilled Taiwanese ceramic artists.
