The Tagliare Console Table has a nice juxtaposition between a reclaimed top surface and a modern box frame below.
Rustic, repurposed wooden blocks – each carved with a unique pattern – fill the top of this slim iron frame with ruggedly intricate detail.

Hmm, although the price is a bit dear, this off-kilter console would add a tiny bit of crazy to your room, in a good way…though I suppose it’s up to you to decide if you need any more of that or not.
‘twisted’ is a console table, a wall mounted display cabinet, a vertical bookshelf – or all three. Four in-line boxes frame the twisted one, creating a subtle focal point. The box in question is offset on 3 different axes, perfectly intersecting the adjacent cubes, defying convention. Specifically designed to add just enough chaos to your all-too-regimented world.
70w x 15h x 32h (with stand)
Material: Solid, vertical edge-grain bamboo, Danish oil and wax finish

Urban Hardwoods has such a wide variety of beautiful pieces, all handmade from salvaged wood in Seattle. I found them while drooling over a coffee table (lower right), and I’d recommend taking a look through their collection if you’re fond of modern wood pieces.
And, for you lucky San Francisco residents, they’re opening up a new showroom in March.
Our goal is fairly straightforward — to be the most progressive, responsible and sustainable wood furniture manufacturer/retailer in America…With every piece we craft, we respect the natural character and imperfections of the tree we use. We let the natural shapes, holes, curves and “live edges” of the tree remain. Our craftsmen work to preserve the tree that once was — and the work-of-art that will be.-Urban Hardwoods

Just in time for February, these pieces incorporate the heart in clever touches and shapes.
The ‘Love Collection’ is an exciting new capsule range that bears all of the classic Deadgood trademarks including an exceptional design style, an uncompromising commitment to quality and an eccentric, tounge in cheek twist. Handcrafted in solid oak the range includes a heart shaped mirror with bevelled glass detailing, a 100% pure wool upholstered lounge chair, featuring heart shaped buttons and an oak console table with heart shaped leg joints. The oak is subtle enough to let the design of the pieces speak for themselves whilst the wool perfectly complements the raw finish of the timber.
These products will be available to purchase online from 1st February

This affordable console/bookcase can shift roles easily as your needs change.
Versatile storage design shifts positions, shifts functions, shifts perspective from upright bookcase to horizontal media console. It shifts from positive to negative space too, with a finished, closed back square and open rectangle on each of three fixed shelves (which also means it can be used as a room divider). Align vertical multiples dramatically down the wall, or you can even stack two or three on their sides. Engineered wood is finished in a new rich teak melamine. Also in black melamine.

Not a bad price for a bamboo console table. I like how the legs stick out ever so slightly at the top.
It’s hip to be square (or in this case, rectangular). A very considerate console, our L7 side table is a “green” grouping of quite right angles. Dual bamboo tops are supported by a stained wood frame, creating generous amounts of geometric appeal. Crafted with non-toxic environmentally-friendly glues and stains, and making use of fast-growing sustainable bamboo, the L7 side table is smart on many levels. Behind a sofa, dividing a room, as a sideboard or bookshelf – you’ll love this one square from square one! Imported. Spot clean.
